Our first son attended Daytimers from 5 months to 2 1/2 years old. The only reason we took him out was because our second son came along and I became a stay at home mom. My son never developed any sort of separation anxiety because he was always happy to go to Daytimers each morning! The teachers create a fun & loving atmosphere. They provide updates throughout the day along with cute photos via an app. Daytimers provides all food starting at 18 months which is amazing for busy parents! No packing lunchboxes!! They even helped us potty train when our son was the only kiddo in his class out of diapers! We have never, in 2 years, had any sort of issue or concern. We also got the feeling that management truly cares. We are so grateful to Daytimers for providing affordable yet high quality care for our son. I couldn’t recommended Daytimers more.
Stefani ChamberlainJun 12, 2025The facility provides a reasonably safe environment for children. While they claim to offer food, we noticed our child consistently lost weight during their time there. Both their learning and physical development seemed to stagnate. The staff is a mix—some teachers are very kind, while others can be a bit harsh with the children. The curriculum follows a one-size-fits-all approach, which may not cater to every child's needs. The owner can occasionally display inappropriate anger, which isn't ideal in a setting with young children. Do I regret enrolling my child there? No. However, I do wish I had explored other options that might have been a better fit for our child’s development. Overall, no hard feelings—the place did keep our child safe for the most part. For working parents seeking a secure environment, it’s not a bad choice. ***** response to the owner -- Thank you for your response. While we appreciate that our child was kept in a safe environment and had access to various activities, we are disappointed by the defensiveness in your reply rather than a genuine acknowledgment of the concerns raised. The issue was never about how many servings were given but whether the meals provided were nutritionally sufficient. Weight loss in young children is a serious concern, and dismissing it by suggesting parents should have sent extra food shifts responsibility rather than addressing a potential problem within the facility. As for feedback, not all parents feel comfortable raising concerns in the moment—especially if they anticipate a dismissive response. That does not make these concerns any less valid. A truly great childcare facility is one that listens, reflects, and actively works to improve rather than deflecting criticism. Thanks for checking on their progress. They are doing great and are already able to read proficiently. Their development, both physically and academically, has progressed at a rate we could have only dreamed of. While we do not regret our time there, we sincerely hope that these issues are taken seriously for the well-being of future children.

Questions parents ask about Day Timers Early Learning Center
Is Day Timers Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Day Timers Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746222670014x237867854555132930, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to June 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Day Timers Early Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records Day Timers Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Day Timers Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 5 school-age places for Day Timers Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Day Timers Early Learning Center operate all year?
- Maryland records Day Timers Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Day Timers Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Day Timers Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
