  • Did Girl Scouts here growing up. Also know several children that attend here including my own. Wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else! Only trust them with the best

  • My daughter has been going here since she was 6 weeks old. She is 4 now and I would never put her anywhere else. She has never had a bad teacher or a teacher she didn’t love. The staff have always been kind and patient with her. When I had my second child there was no doubt in my mind they would also go to ESEL. The staff care for these kids like they are their own. My daughter is so stinking smart thanks to these ladies. I know when she goes to WCPS she will be successful because ESEL prepared her for it.

  • One bad experience makes me give it a low rating my daughter attended here when she was one and then I couldn't afford it due to her father get into a motorcycle accident they allowed me to rack up money that I was never able to pay. I had to move out of the area due to it. we move back in 20 24 she then attended for after school I had daycare vouchers when I was brought in nothing was signed or said the day of the interview about the money having to be paid back from years ago. I had actually bragged about how amazing it was that they decided you let her come back in and not have to pay that back. My vouchers didn't come in until the second week of my daughter attending so they pulled the 160 out of my bank account. I asked on multiple occasions about getting the refund and was told once the daycare vouchers came in and backdated to when she started I would then receive my refund. I never heard anything about it again so I waited to see I never received the refund. 2 months later in December when I asked Caroline Hoffman about the refund she then brought up that how it was going towards the money that was owed from the previous balance that I had to sign something saying that I was paying $100 back towards that every week and if I didn't sign it my daughter was out 2 Days Later. My daughter attended here for 2 months and you want to come after me for money that was owed from gears ago all because I was asking about a refund yeah maybe I should have let it go but how she handled that was unprofessional very rude and my daughter had to suffer because of it. If we had discussed that I had to pay that back for her to attend a. I wouldn't have attended or b. something would have been signed that day and payment should have started then not 2 months later after she's been there.

  • This place is the most money stealing lying place. The people in there are mean the the kids I have a 1 year old and she comes home crying every single day and eats 2 bottles and still hungry bc they don’t feed her correctly. The employee Alyssa told my wife she could put lactose milk in the bottle to send well today the owners daughter Caroline Hoffman wanted to me tell it wasn’t aloud and dumped it out when me and my wife are poor parents struggling. But they don’t care all they care about is the money and why about the mental of these poor kids. I don’t recommend this daycare to anyone at all.

  • My daughter started attending here when she was about 8 weeks old. At first I did not have any problems. then I realized that there is a safety concern when dropping off my child when there was no staff besides the director to watch not only my child but several others in the front lobby with an unlocked door leading straight to a parking lot. Additional safety concerns when a photo of my infant on a tile floor with no padding was sent to me. Communication was also not great. Do not recommend.

  • My two kids attend at the Eastern Shore Early Learning and all I have to say is, the staff is absolutely outstanding! From communication to caring for my kids. I honestly couldn’t ask for much more. My kids always are happy to be dropped off. I speak very highly of the staff and the owners, they are truly there for our kids! Thank you for all you do and I highly recommend ESEL!

Questions parents ask about Eastern Shore Early Learning

Is Eastern Shore Early Learning a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Eastern Shore Early Learning holds Maryland licence 1746209055799x181576733932345760, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Worcester County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to January 31, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Eastern Shore Early Learning's standing?

Maryland records Eastern Shore Early Learning's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Eastern Shore Early Learning licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 6 infant places and 38 school-age places for Eastern Shore Early Learning. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Eastern Shore Early Learning operate all year?

Maryland records Eastern Shore Early Learning as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Eastern Shore Early Learning?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Eastern Shore Early Learning's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
