  • Our family feels like we're part of another family within Embark. This is felt within the classrooms, the teachers, administration and other families.   • Would not recommend. Lack of communication and dishonesty from directors. They treated us like family at first and we loved it there. It all seemed to change overnight and their friendly facade was suddenly gone. There was a complete lack of communication and failure to report any concerns or problems for months. Our daughter was having behavioral issues but they failed to notify us- for months, there was no verbal or written communication. We were under the impression she was doing great. We were then blindsided with a demand that we would have to locate and pay the salary for a one-on-one aide and pick her up every day 3 hours early, among other ridiculous demands, for our child to remain enrolled. We were given a one week deadline to accomplish this, which was completely unrealistic. Becca also blatantly lied during our meeting several times and not one director accepted accountability for the lack of communication. It was clear they were pushing her out. For a center that embraces you like family, I was incredibly disappointed with their actions. They simply care about their bottom line and the appearance of diversity and inclusivity is an act. We moved our daughter to a smaller school that communicated appropriately, accepted our suggestions, and truly cared about our daughter and she is doing great.
