  • We’ve had a great experience with GHES at Apple Ridge! It’s the perfect mix of safe, structured, and genuinely nurturing. The play-based curriculum keeps learning fun and engaging. Ms. Amber and Ms. Asia (as well as the entire Todds team and broader staff) are amazing - so communicative, supportive, and truly invested in our child. We always feel informed and confident our son in great hands. We’ve seen huge growth in our son's language, confidence, and independence in the year he's been enrolled. He loves going to school, which we're so grateful for! Highly recommend!

  • How do you measure your child’s happiness at school? It’s not an easy task, there’s no “happy-meter.” But you see it in the little things: when they feel safe with their teachers, when they talk about them at home, and even when they’re upset, they call out their teacher’s name for comfort. That’s when you know you’ve found the right place. That’s exactly how our child feels at Georgetown Hill Early School Montgomery Village, especially with Miss Ashley. She makes our child feel safe, supported, and truly at home. We’ve also seen that same care and dedication from Miss Karina and Miss Frances, who all contribute to such a caring environment. Knowing our child is surrounded by teachers like Miss Ashley and the entire team gives us complete peace of mind.

  • If you are looking for a daycare that actually cares about your child, teaches them through fun activities and really teams up with you as a parent to provide the best care possible, you found it! GHES is by far the best daycare we have seen. They are very well organized, with plenty of fun activities during the day that teaches kids music, Spanish, English, coordination, sharing, team work, etc. Our kid is always excited to go in and comes home happy, smarter and, yes tired (clearly a sign that he has been engaged all day). All the staff is also kind, caring and clearly love their jobs and the kids. Specially shout out to Ms. Shinya and Ms. Angelica from the toddler’s class for their incredible work (although all the teachers in that class are amazing).

  • We love GHES! Both of our kids have been taught by Ms. Candice, Ms. Sandra & Ms. Karina and they love each of them. They've been so attentive to our kids and great at communicating with us about how they're progressing at school. Our toddler transitioned to Ms. Angie & Ms. Gerri's pre-k class for this school year and they've been amazing, too! We value their support for our daughter and us as parents whose little one will head off to kindergarten in just a few months. We highly recommend GHES!

  • Georgetown Hill has definitely played a very big part in our son’s early development. Since we are a small immigrant family, in which family support and social circle are limited, sending our son to a resourceful and experienced daycare is important. We hope our son makes good friends, gets inspired, and feels happy at school. Thanks to GHES’s well-structured activities, which are so educational without compromising the fun elements, we have seen a great progress in our son. He talks a lot more. We always enjoy seeing him show us what he has learned, ranging from numbers and colors, to insects and plants. Thank you Ms Kathy and Ms Jessica for taking care of our son so well.

  • Our 3yo boy loves the school and the so many different activities to encourage kids and make them learning using such creative interactions. Ms Kathy and Ms Jessica do everything for our son to feel good and make he feels happy on going to school everyday. We couldn’t have chose better. Thank you for everything!

Yes. Georgetown Hill Early School holds Maryland licence 1746211903820x692592997469141600, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. How many children is Georgetown Hill Early School licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 6 infant places and 15 school-age places for Georgetown Hill Early School. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Georgetown Hill Early School operate all year?

Maryland records Georgetown Hill Early School as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Georgetown Hill Early School?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Georgetown Hill Early School's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
