My grandson attends Glen Mar Early Learning Center and in the few short weeks of attending he is doing great. The teachers are very loving and nurturing. They are potty training him and he is doing an amazing job His teachers are doing a fantastic job with that and his speech is improving I am very happy with the quality of care that my grandson is receiving I really appreciate his teachers Ms. Carrie and Ms. Aniya for all the hard work they have been doing to help my grandson
Hope LayneJul 8, 2026I love Glen Mar ELC. We switched from a franchise and couldn’t be happier. Everyone is very friendly and our kids really enjoy it. Our children have not been sick like they were in their old daycare and we feel that they are very well cared for
Rebecca ThompsonJul 23, 2025Had a really disappointing experience that ended with a covid scare in a class where our child was often the only one masked. Thankfully we pulled our child out just before a confirmed covid case in her class. One of her classroom teachers was kind and seemed competent but most other admin and staff were not very warm, kind or welcoming and I felt like my child was just one of many. This is my youngest of 3 kids so we’ve been to a few preschools over the years and this was the first where I felt like my child was a number not a child they wanted to get to know. You can find better.
Corinne HeiligerSep 2, 2021Great cebter for early childhood education.
Chris MillerJun 11, 2016We love Glen Mar! The teachers are excellent and truly care for the kids. The leadership is excellent and draws great teachers. Everything is well done. I think I knew it would be a great experience going there when we signed up and there was breakfast foods and coffee the morning of open enrollment. The staff knew they were expecting a big group and that we would be waiting well in advance and they were so gracious to us, letting us in early and making sure everyone was well accounted for. I appreciate the great communication about everything as well. Also, they are open most of the time even when schools are closed for snow. There was one time I wasn't even comfortable driving at all, but Glen Mar was open on time. I think this is a great advantage if you need to go into work despite the weather.

Questions parents ask about Glen Mar Early Learning Center
Is Glen Mar Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Glen Mar Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746219628034x774982550608169100, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Howard County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to June 30, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
How many children is Glen Mar Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 15 school-age places for Glen Mar Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Glen Mar Early Learning Center operate all year?
- Maryland records Glen Mar Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Glen Mar Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Glen Mar Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
