Happy Home Early Learning Center has been a wonderful experience for our family! The staff is warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth and well-being. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with engaging activities that spark creativity and learning. What I appreciate most is how the teachers take the time to really get to know each child, meeting them where they are and encouraging them to reach their full potential. Communication with parents is excellent they keep us updated daily and always make us feel involved in our child’s progress. My child has grown so much socially and academically since joining Happy Home. They love going to school each day, which says it all! It feels like a safe, nurturing “home away from home,” and I couldn’t be happier with the care and education provided here. I highly recommend Happy Home Early Learning Center to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching environment for their child.
Jessica OfosuaSep 20, 2025Mrs April is a great teacher. My nephew really enjoys reading time and the consistency within helping the children reach there developmental milestone. When you find an educator that really cares about the welfare and wellbeing of your child, never neglect there presence in your child’s life. Yes I recommend this establishment to anyone.
Latoya NguasongJan 8, 2025This is the best Pre-k school ever. My son was in a Pre - k before he got admitted here for almost 6months but nothing to show for it. When he got to happy Home, just within a week he could count 1-100, good in letters and many other social aspects. I also admire the way they discipline their kids with love. They talk to them in a mature setting. If you want your child to have a good foundation, then this is the place. I wish we could carry the school to our next duty station. My son left this school far better than he came in every aspect. Special thanks to all the teachers and staffs, especially Miss Patricia and my son best teacher Miss Keniya and Miss Mary. God bless you all
Achu whitneyNov 5, 2024Happy Home is a wonderful daycare/pre-k center to have your child at. My daughter received love, care and key social skills to prepare her for school. She is now at the top of her pre-k class in Elementary school, and reading at a first grade level. The staff keeps you informed with daily progress reports. Mrs. Otumfuo and her team work very hard to assist parents in order to ensure t your child's needs are met.
s torbitApr 12, 2024Our daughter has been growing in many aspects of development since she joined HAPPY HOME EARLY LEARNING CENTER.we are very greatful to have very experienced and caring director and teachers they are working hard.Happy Home early learning center is part of our family which give us a big relief to leave her there knowing she is very happy and safe. Yaseen KhalidSep 22, 2023Happy Home Early Learning Center has been great for my now 4 year old. He started here when he was 3 1/2 and transferring from another day care after Covid. He was experiencing some delays and though he still has some the staff here has helped to make some of those delays minor. My sons speech and use of his hands for writing and coloring have improved. When I found Ms. Otumfuo online and spoke with her about my child’s delays and needs she assessed him and say the same things I saw and worked to help him get him where he needed to be at her home care before transferring him to her center. She has been amazing at communicating his improvements and areas where he needs continued support. I honestly could have cried from seeing his improvements. The staff here is friendly and caring and knows the kids well. My son loves coming here everyday and hates it when the weekend comes. He loves Ms. Karla, Ms. Mary and Ms. Otumfuo! Since having the enhanced experience here with the other kids he’s making friends and experiencing parties and learning about boundaries and friendship. I would highly recommend bringing your children here. You won’t regret it!

Questions parents ask about Happy Home Early Learning Center
Is Happy Home Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Happy Home Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746213686639x533280677825751040, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to June 30, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
How many children is Happy Home Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 6 infant places for Happy Home Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Happy Home Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Happy Home Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
