I would never let my kids drive with the person who drives the bus to take the kids to school. Clearly doesn’t understand traffic signals nor cares about the safety of those children
Toni PiazzaJan 13, 2026I cant say enough about this center!!! First its loving environment! The kids from all ages are so happy to see the staff in the morning. Mrs. Rodgers prioritize SAFETY at all times which I love. The center is bright and beautiful and provides stimulation, prompt school readiness activities and they even helped with potty training. It was a team effort but my daughter now 5 has been at the center since 6 weeks. I wouldn't trust another place. Please go and visit. They are welcome to feedback and always have you covered for school closings, summer camp and daily child care. Just an awesome center. We adore Mrs. Rodgers (owner) and Ms. Danielle ( manager) they will make sure your child needs are met!
Danielle GoldsmithAug 10, 2025Higher Heights Educational Center is a Good place to enroll kids of all ages. The kids learn, play and do plenty of activities. When the weather is nice, they can play on the playground, which is on the premise. Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided or you can send meals if you have a picky eater. The center also has a room for before and after school kids. The director of the daycare is a cool, funny lady that takes care of her business. She is hands-on if the staff needs assistance. If you're looking for a reasonably priced daycare in the Lansdowne area or vicinity, this could be the place for your child.
Kimberlee EbbSep 26, 2024My daughter loves going to the daycare. She started there as an infant and I can attest to it that she has progressed a lot at 15 months she is able to rhyme and count numbers. To Ms Rogders and her amazing staff; especially Ms Nadia, my family is grateful for the wonderful work you have done for Mimi. God bless you all. We love higher heights Educational Center.
Mary Ofosu NimohSep 4, 2024We were anxious to have our twins start daycare, and after touring a ton of daycare, the moment we walked into this daycare, we knew it was the one. Everyone is pleasant and easy to work with. They are understanding and made us feel reassured that our twins would be safe in the facility. It’s been a few weeks now, the I will say that the communication is always open, I am happy to be in the loop when they eat, nap, or when the staff have any questions or concerns. The twins adjusted quickly and we noticed the change in their personality since they been to this daycare. They are more social and we can notice little positive changes. I think this was a good decision for us and I recommend Higher Heights!
Analicia ArchibaldFeb 18, 2022This daycare center is amazing I've been going for about 3 years now. They are organized and respectful. My kids love their teachers ❤ they definitely treat you like family. And Mrs. Roger has such a beautiful soul. She definitely keeps it all together and loves the kids!!

How many children is Higher Heights Educational Center licensed for?

- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Higher Heights Educational Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
