  • We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Holding Hands Daycare, and we highly recommend them to any family looking for a warm, attentive, and supportive daycare environment. When we first started looking for daycare, it was because of a sudden change, and we needed care on short notice. Holding Hands was kind, flexible, and happy to work with us, making the enrollment process quick and easy while still ensuring we had all the information we needed. We never felt rushed or pressured; instead, we felt supported from the very beginning. That same level of support continued throughout our son’s time there. Holding Hands has always been attentive to his needs and has truly excelled at communication with us at home. We never felt out of the loop and always had a clear picture of what his day looked like, which gave us so much comfort and confidence. The staff has also been amazing. One thing that always stood out to us was how staff from other classrooms, as well as office staff, knew our son by name and made a point to say hello and goodbye. It showed us that Holding Hands has a strong sense of community throughout the entire daycare, not just within individual classrooms. When our son had a medical emergency at home, we were especially grateful for the initiative Holding Hands took. They made sure staff were aware of what had happened and worked with us to create a plan so he would have extra support and coverage when needed. It also meant so much to us that they simply reached out to check in while he was out. Most importantly, we could tell Holding Hands was a special place by how happy our son was at drop off and pick up. At pickup, before he even saw us, it was clear he was not just standing around waiting to leave. Sometimes he was dancing, sometimes he was outside playing, and sometimes he was happily flipping through a book. Seeing him so comfortable, cared for, and genuinely happy meant everything to us. We are incredibly grateful for the care, kindness, and support Holding Hands Daycare has given our family. They have made such a positive impact on our son’s life, and we would highly recommend them to other families.

  • I write this review with a saddened heart. My son has been going to Holding Hands since we moved back to Maryland in 2024 and it has been such an amazing experience (we're moving) . The way that they love on these children, nurture and nourish them, all while allowing them to develop into their own little personalities has been incredible. My son was fortunate enough to have his teacher transition with him from his toddler class to his preschool class and she absolutely loves him. Freesa the director is amazing and so accommodating. And his teachers Ms. Asma, Ms. Selma and Ms. Ava will all be missed dearly! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby! The daycare is educationally focus which really helps develop your little ones in their prime retention ages!

  • We have had a great experience overall. My kids started there when they were 2 and 4, youngest is now off to kindergarten. The kids enjoyed going, made friends there, and I think their 4 yr old class did well in preparing my kids for kindergarten. No major issues, the few minor issues that arose, the staff/director handled quickly and professionally. Also (minor thing) the app they use actually works well which is a plus.

  • The Graduation Ceremony for Pre-School and Kindergarten held on 6 Jun 2025 was a classy affair and well put together. I want to thank the staff and especially the teacher on working with the children. The dancing and singing was superb!!

Is Holding Hands Daycare Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. What does Maryland record about Holding Hands Daycare Center's standing?

Maryland records Holding Hands Daycare Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Holding Hands Daycare Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 18 infant places and 30 school-age places for Holding Hands Daycare Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does this page show inspection results for Holding Hands Daycare Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Holding Hands Daycare Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
