The experience started off well but unfortunately ended on a negative note. Communication was poor—she often talked over me instead of listening, which made it difficult to address concerns. The situation escalated when she gave less than a day’s notice that my children could no longer attend. This decision stemmed from an incident where she walked in on my oldest son in the bathroom without knocking. When he expressed that she should knock, she considered it “talking back” and decided he was no longer welcome. Another major concern was that she would give my son chocolate to watch the other children while she was upstairs. I’m unsure if the other parents were aware that their children were being supervised by another child. Overall, this raised serious concerns about communication, professionalism, and proper supervision.

There’s a warmth that you carry with you as you leave, a feeling that your child is not only safe but truly happy. This isn’t something you get on an ordinary day, but it’s what you experience here, every time you come to pick up your little one. The joy is contagious. My kids absolutely love going, and that’s the most important thing to me. They come home excited, full of stories, and eager to return the next day. You can see the care, the patience, and the dedication in everything the staff does.

From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine sense of care, warmth, and professionalism from the entire staff. My daughter absolutely loves going each day – she’s always excited in the mornings and comes home happy, full of stories, and excited to share her projects with me. The staffs are incredibly nurturing, patient, and attentive. They’ve created such a safe and stimulating environment where learning and play go hand-in-hand. She’s even developed a love for nature through their little projects — like planting vegetables and learning how things grow. She proudly brings home the veggies she’s helped care for, excitedly telling me how she watered them. It’s been such a joy to watch her grow in so many ways. We’re truly grateful for the positive impact Joyful Learning has had on her early years.
