  Both of our children went to Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg and we have a positive experience. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable. The activities are fun and educational. The classrooms are always clean and arranged with different kinds of toys. They also have an in-house kitchen producing yummy and healthy meals which both of my children love. Overall it is a great place to send your little ones!

  I kept my child at home for as long as I could. I’d make arrangements with family members and even step away from my career for periods of time to take care of her. However, there comes a time in a child’s development where socialization and learning in a structured setting becomes necessary. As my daughter approached 4 years old, we toured different daycares and preschools in the area. I could not be more pleased with the decision we made to enroll our daughter here at Kiddie Academy in Gaithersburg. Angela, the director, is knowledgeable, professional, comforting, and kind. You can tell she runs a great center and is very involved in every aspect. I have yet to meet a staff member on her team who is not warm and kind. My daughter, at the end of each day, asks if she can “come back to the center tomorrow.” She hugs everyone and talks about them at home everyday, which indicates to me that she is treated well there. For the parents who are new to the pre-school transition like me, just know that you will be well supported; the staff will give insight to everything you may be thinking and feeling. From a logistical standpoint, the cameras you can pay to have access to in your child’s classroom also provide ease. I can see my daughter eating, napping, learning, and interacting with her friends. The school itself is small and simple— but sometimes that’s the best way to go. Everything here has a simple, easy to follow system. It’s always clean and tidy. The school embodies everything you need and want in one: integrity, safety, accountability, and a sense of community. Please take it from me… a once very anxious mom… that Kiddie Academy is the way to go. I have nothing but peace in my heart. And I know that if any concerns were to arise, I can always approach anyone on the staff and be met with compassion and action.

  Our child loves KA Gaithersburg - we love how hands on the teachers are, how engaged they are, and that they do lots of fun activities for the kids while tying back to learning and development. When we were touring daycares in the area before we moved, our son came in, looks around the playground and said “okay bye mommy and daddy,” and we knew that he was in the right spot!

  We have sent our two kids to Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg, both starting in the infant room and our oldest is now in the private Kindergarten. The way that they teach and help our kids grow and play is clearly grounded in child development every step of the way. One particular thing I have appreciated is the professional development they offer their staff on a regular basis - it’s translating to a great experience for us! The teachers seem close-knit and there is little turnover. The kids have a great routine but there is always interesting and thoughtful activities happening. Above all, our kids have been loved and well cared for in every classroom by the wonderful teachers. Every teacher and staff member in the building knows their names and they seem to genuinely know them as unique small humans. I am so happy that we found Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg and would recommend it to anyone. PS - healthy snacks and lunch are provided, a godsend to busy families!

  My children have been attending Kiddie Academy for about 2 years now. We absolutely LOVE this facility and can't recommend it enough!!! I have recommended them to multiple families already and have only heard great feedback from them as well. My son has transitioned through 3 different classes already. I was nervous for his transitions, but every new teacher he was paired with was nothing short of AMAZING! Each teacher has continued to remain compassionate, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. It is truly so heartwarming to see how much progress my son has made since his time here. They've truly exceeded the expectations I had for a daycare facility. My daughter is now in grade school but continues to rave about Kiddie Academy to this day! It's not an easy task to find a reputable place to care for your children, but after my extensive research and enrolling on a whim -- I am truly so grateful that I did. If you're searching for daycare, LOOK NO FURTHER!

  We’ve had our kids at this daycare for the past 3–4 years, and I honestly have nothing but wonderful things to say. The entire staff is always friendly, kind, and truly caring—they treat every child with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve seen my kids grow so much both intellectually and emotionally, and I credit a lot of that to the nurturing environment here. A big thank you to Ms. Angela, Karla, Riley and Vera for always being so helpful with the administrative side of things, and to all of the amazing teachers for their dedication and support. We feel very fortunate to be part of this community and couldn’t ask for a better place for our kids to learn and grow.
