As a parent, I’ve experienced several childcare centers because there always seemed to be something important missing for our family. Finding the Kiddie Academy of Laurel center has truly been a breath of fresh air. The biggest difference has been my son. I’ve watched him become confident walking into his classroom on his own, build genuine connections with his teachers, and light up with the biggest smile in every photo and video update. Seeing him so happy and secure gives me incredible peace of mind. The professionalism is outstanding, but what makes this center special is the warm, family atmosphere. Every morning we’re greeted with smiles, the classrooms are filled with learning and fun, and the photos and videos throughout the day help me feel connected while I’m at work. I also love the little details that show how much they care, from the children’s artwork and smiling faces decorating the hallways to the family newsletters, themed calendars, and weekend activity ideas. My son has had such a wonderful experience in the 3-year-old classroom, and even our morning drop-off routine has become something we both enjoy. I’m a very tough critic when it comes to childcare because trusting others with your child is one of the biggest leaps a parent can take. For me to confidently give this center a 5 out of 5 says everything. Thank you to the incredible teachers and everyone in the front office for creating a place where children thrive and parents feel at peace. My family and little scholar are so very grateful!
Gina AlexJul 14, 2026We had an amazing time celebrating Hero Day! Our son absolutely loved getting to drive the fire truck and had so much fun learning about firefighters. He especially loved the auto shop and sprinklers . Thank you to everyone who made the day so special and memorable! 🚒❤️
Meghana AldredJul 13, 2026I was genuinely excited for my son to attend this daycare, but unfortunately, he was denied enrollment solely due to having a G-tube. I find this extremely unfair and concerning. I offered to personally train staff on how to manage his feeds, and his doctor was prepared to provide a detailed care plan, yet none of that was taken into consideration. Children with disabilities deserve the same opportunities for social development, learning, and inclusion as any other child. Decisions like this contribute to the ongoing exclusion of children who already face additional challenges. In my opinion, daycares, like schools should be better equipped to support children with medical needs. Emergencies can happen with any child, and having properly trained staff or medical support should be a standard, not a limitation. This experience felt discriminatory, and I hope this policy is reconsidered so other families do not face the same situation.
Chela' PMar 17, 2026It’s so never wrecking deciding on where to enroll your children at such a young age, but Kiddie Academy in Laurel has put me at ease. My twin boys are 3 and have adapted so well. The staff have been AMAZING with assisting us with the transition, and my little ones are thriving, always happy to go to school! Great fit!
Melissa RamosFeb 27, 2026Our 3 year old son started at Kiddie Academy in July after a long search for the perfect pre-k. We couldn’t have found a better school! The teachers and administrators have all been communicative, loving, caring and engaging. I love checking the app and seeing how much fun he is having. He’s thriving and is developing such wonderful skills. Highly recommend! Extended hours and not having to worry about packing lunches are the cherries on top!
CarinFeb 26, 2026Kiddie Academy of Laurel has been a wonderful experience for both our sons and our family. From the moment we enrolled, the staff has shown exceptional care and attention to detail. The teachers are nurturing and knowledgeable. What I appreciate most is their focus on a well-rounded curriculum that blends fun and learning. My child has thrived in this environment, developing not only academically but also socially. The activities are engaging, and I love that they incorporate play-based learning, stem, yoga, and it has my son excited about coming to school. We appreciate the healthy meals. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. Communication from the staff is excellent; I receive regular updates about my child's progress and daily activities. Overall, I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Laurel to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching environment for their little one. It’s been a fantastic choice for us!

- Yes. Kiddie Academy of Laurel holds Maryland licence 1746221443669x127389922263384750, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to August 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
How many children is Kiddie Academy of Laurel licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places for Kiddie Academy of Laurel. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Kiddie Academy of Laurel operate all year?
- Maryland records Kiddie Academy of Laurel as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Kiddie Academy of Laurel?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Kiddie Academy of Laurel's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
