KidsCo is failing the children and families it’s supposed to serve. Staff are clearly not equipped—or willing—to support low-income families, and it shows. Families seeking care and enrichment are left to navigate the system on their own while the organization ignores their needs. It’s deeply troubling that the leadership, including CEO Jay Gerson, hides behind a lack of transparency—there’s not even a public photo of him. If the people running this organization can’t be accountable, how can they be trusted with children? Montgomery County families deserve programs that actually uplift and support all kids, not ones that leave the most vulnerable behind. KidsCo needs to be investigated, and parents should think twice before trusting them with their children.
