  • I have no other choice. I can’t wait until my child is old enough to get out of here it’s a waste of money. My child complains to me they have them burning up and when asked to turn the fan on master JD tells them no and gives no explanation. How can you have the children there it’s hot, muggy, musty and it smells bad some plug ins would do them good. My son has also complained about not receiving snacks. They give them one animal cracker. This is terrible how dare you treat children like this!! Unfortunately Glen Burnie is terrible with school age child care. Despicable city. Again, I can’t wait until my son leave this place.

  • The knowledge learned will never fade. Started when I was 12 I'll say things haven't bother me much 30 years later. It was located on Belair road i believe. I have much respect for master j Kim thank you.

  • I've been working on convincing my daughter to take karate lessons here. I'm leaving a 5 star review because this establishment has truly wonderful staff. They allow my daughter as well as other students to wait inside for their school bus in the morning if they are dropped off earlier than the bus arrives. It's a very kind offer from them especially in the winter and during inclement weather. I have friends with children who take lessons here and their kids rave about the staff as well as the progress they make during their lessons.

  • As someone who went here as an 11-year-old, I advised to not bring your kids here unless you want Them to haveextreme childhood trauma and manipulative Staff members that target teenagers there’s hardly ever any friendly staff there so I advised to all the parents out here looking for childcare. Do not choose this one, especially when all the staff could give you a life worth of childhood trauma and lying to parents like the one viewing this review i’m glad I’m out of there now

  • I would advise this center to upgrade their staff and get employees who actually like kids. My grandson has had an issue the entire summer and for some reason I thought it was him. They allow kids to tease other kids, to threaten other kids and the assistant director has threaten my grandson herself. This place is despicable!!!

  • My daughter has been attending since last September & she loves it. I have no complaints. The staff are very pleasant, and caring. Their schedule is very flexible. I can drop my daughter off when school is closed, go to work and know that she's in good hands.

Questions parents ask about Kim's Karate and Learning Center

Is Kim's Karate and Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Kim's Karate and Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746211100469x499680696721723300, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Anne Arundel County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to January 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Kim's Karate and Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records Kim's Karate and Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Kim's Karate and Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 60 school-age places for Kim's Karate and Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Kim's Karate and Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records Kim's Karate and Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Kim's Karate and Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Kim's Karate and Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
