I grew up going to this before and after school program from first grade to 6th grade. I have so many great memories here! During summer break and when school was out, Mrs. Kelly planned a variety of activities for us. We would visit museums and parks all over Maryland and DC. We also had arts & craft days, water play, and library visits. I was never bored. Mrs. Kelly really went above and beyond in creating an enriching environment for us!
Rachel KellyMay 13, 2026My daughter attended Kingdom Care's after care program over 20 years ago, and it was truly a blessing! The environment was safe, nurturing, and God-centered, with activities, meals, and lessons that supported her growth. We're very grateful for the positive impact it had on her early years, and a special thanks to Ms. Kelly for her dedication and heart in caring for the children!
Donna HarrellMar 26, 2026I really enjoyed attending Kingdom Childcare camp. We did a lot of different activities throughout the week like going roller skating, picnicing at the park, going to medieval times, and much more. The camp is also great way to get closer to God with friends. I highly recommend going to this camp every summer.
EdenMar 23, 2026Kingdom Care is a place built on real love, God’s love. The kids are always greeted with a smile, treated with care, and taught about Jesus Christ in a genuine way. The staff are professional, attentive, and you can tell they actually care about the children, not just doing a job. The way they guide, encourage, and correct is consistent and comes from a good place. It shows in how the kids respond and grow. I would definitely recommend Kingdom Care to any parent looking for a safe, faith-based environment for their child.
Willie Captain Random WashingtonMar 23, 2026We were so incredibly blessed to have been referred to Kingdom Care. Both of my kids attended from first grade through fifth grade, and it was truly a home away from home. Mrs. Kelly feels like family—she and her staff were caring, attentive, and professional. I never worried about my children while they were there. I loved that they integrated Christian values into everyday learning and allowed the kids to openly talk about their faith, which was so important to our family. The before and after-school care provided a great balance of structure, fun activities, and support with homework. I would highly recommend for any parent looking for a safe, loving, faith-based environment!

Questions parents ask about Kingdom Care Childcare
Is Kingdom Care Childcare a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Kingdom Care Childcare holds Maryland licence 1746214339501x226412564088673820, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to February 28, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Kingdom Care Childcare's standing?
- Maryland records Kingdom Care Childcare's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Kingdom Care Childcare licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 school-age places for Kingdom Care Childcare. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Kingdom Care Childcare operate all year?
- Maryland records Kingdom Care Childcare as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Kingdom Care Childcare?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Kingdom Care Childcare's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
