  • We love Ms Kadi and Mr Chad! My little guy took a while to get used to being away from me, and I can’t thank Kadi enough for working with both of us through the transition. She is patient and loving and flexible. My son has a great time there now! He plays with friends, he comes home singing songs and talking about the fun he had. And he’s picking up some great habits too. This daycare has definitely been a win for our family ❤️

  • Kadi and Chad have been so incredible with our daughter! This was her first daycare experience at around 2 years old and she has pretty extreme separation anxiety and they were just so wonderful throughout the transition for her. She used to scream and cry at drop off and now she just waves Bye to us and walks right in. She loves going there and being with her friends and all of the activities she does there. Working with Kadi and Chad is truly so so easy and we just know our child is in the best situation they can be in during this crucial developmental time! We would recommend their care to anyone and everyone!

  • If I could give ten stars, I would!!! Our three (now four) year old enjoyed, learned, and thrived at Little Explorers Daycare. Kadi and Chad are amazing and treated our little girl like their own. Kadi's knowledge of everything medical (as a nurse) combined with her high level of education (and continued certifications) makes for an ideal caretaker for all children. The food was delicious, organic and homemade. My child constantly came home talking about the fun experiences she had at "school." Kadi spent a lot of time communicating with us daily on our child's growth, habits, and "wins" for the day. She had fun celebrations for the kids' birthdays, holidays, and planned family visits where the parents could get to know each other and be involved. I couldn't have asked for more and I highly recommend Little Explorers Daycare to anyone looking for educated, thoughtful, "goes the extra mile and then some," caretakers for their child.

  • Miss Kadi has been a fantastic caregiver for our little one. This was our first daycare experience, and Miss Kadi helped us navigate it beautifully. Little one gradually grew accustomed to the environment and is flourishing. Miss Kadi's home is warm and inviting, being tidy and developmentally appropriate for young kids. She offers structured and unstructured play and exploration, works in educational material during the day, minimal screen time, and provides solid communication. It has been a joy to work with her, and my little one learned a lot under her care. The 4:1 adult to child ratio with the inclusion of her husband gives me a lot of peace that my child is receiving adequate attention and supervision. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. As Ms. Kadi is a former nurse, I have confidence in her ability to provide good care to my child who has food allergies if the need arises. In summary, Little Explorers Daycare is an amazing home facility that is I am thankful to have my child be a part of.

  • We love the family centered care our son receives here! They go above and beyond to help him adjust to the daycare setting. The kids have a great routine for play, learning, and interacting- not to mention well balanced meals! We could not be happier with our son’s care.

  • If you're looking for a trustworthy in-home daycare, you have found the right place. Mrs. Kadi is caring, your child will get to learn, make friends, and she cares about what kinds of foods she feeds them. Highly recommend!

Questions parents ask about Little Explorers Day Care

Is Little Explorers Day Care a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Little Explorers Day Care holds Maryland licence 1746219563662x334882496664750340, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Frederick County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to June 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Little Explorers Day Care's standing?

Maryland records Little Explorers Day Care's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Little Explorers Day Care licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 2 infant places and 5 school-age places for Little Explorers Day Care. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Little Explorers Day Care operate all year?

Maryland records Little Explorers Day Care as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Little Explorers Day Care?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Little Explorers Day Care's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
