By far the best center to send your child to. My daughter came from in home daycare and wow she has really blossomed and learned so much from little jacks!!! I definitely would recommend this center to any parents looking for child care. The teachers are beyond great with the kids and put a lot of effort into making sure they have a great time. The staff here is super friendly and beyond amazing!!!
Victoria HopkinsNov 12, 2025Little Jack’s Corner is extremely unprofessional, and their staff is poorly trained with terrible attitudes. They have no idea how to support children when they’re having a hard time. I was never contacted about my son’s behavior until it was too late. They claim to have tried “multiple strategies and resources,” but that’s simply not true. Instead of helping him, they would just call me to pick him up. When I tried to collaborate and come up with a plan, I was completely ignored. My mother-in-law, who is a licensed therapist, even offered to come observe and help identify what might be causing his difficulties — they never responded. The last time they called me to pick him up (the third time), I could tell they had already given up. I requested to speak to the director to discuss a plan, and instead of responding, they sent me an email terminating his enrollment. Honestly, I’m relieved they did, because I was done paying for such terrible service. The lack of professionalism, communication, and compassion is shocking. There are no cameras in the classrooms, and one day when I picked up my son, he had scabs on his face like he had fallen on concrete, the staff claimed they didn’t see anything happen. No report, no pictures, no concern at all. Completely unacceptable. Between the high staff turnover, the drama, and the lack of genuine care, it all makes sense. My son would come home with snot all over his face and no sign that anyone had cleaned him up or paid attention. Little Jack’s Corner needs to do better. Train your staff, take accountability, and understand that caring for children is not just a job to “pass the time” it’s a responsibility. Side note for families of color: You may also want to find a center with a more diverse staff. This location’s team lacks diversity, which can definitely affect understanding and connection with different children’s needs and backgrounds.
yani daltonNov 9, 2025I do not recommend this daycare. Be sure to ask about their behavior policies. Teachers are not trained nor do the possess the patience or competence to redirect a child from biting. Biting stems from a child trying gain someone's attention because at 2 they have not been equipped to deal with that. These teachers are not skilled enough to know that and do not have the patience to redirect a child's behavior or have a conversation with their parents. Never trust a human who is mean to a precious child because they cannot express themselves and the way that they are doing it seems bad to you. Good luck ladies trained and compassionate daycares that are diverse are hard to find.
mombasa kingNov 6, 2025Little Jacks has been such a huge blessing for our family. The teachers there honestly care about every child, and it shows in how happy and comfortable my kids are when they walk through the door. It’s a place that feels safe, welcoming, and full of heart. On top of that, their prices are actually affordable, which means more families in our community can give their kids a great start without breaking the bank. I’m really thankful for everything they do and the love they show every single day.
Ken DillerOct 29, 2025Little Jacks has cared for my son since he was 8 weeks old and we have loved them since day one (he is almost 2 now). I was a first time mom and terrified of dropping my son off with people I barely knew, but that quickly changed! The teachers are amazing and truly care for the kiddos there, they communicate well with any concerns and my son has learned so much there as he continues to grow. They have always taken my concerns seriously and addressed them when necessary. No daycare is perfect, but I have found that any opportunities for improvements are welcomed by the staff here and they always do their best to make sure the parents & the kids are happy! The owner also goes above and beyond for daycare events which is so special for the kids and the parents both ❤️
Erin LovelaceOct 29, 2025I dropped off my nephew here as a favor to my sister. WOW, was I impressed. They had a designated area to park to drop off your kids. I was greeted at the door by a staff member that already knew I was the uncle. It seemed very well managed and organized. The grounds looked large and clean. It was in a very conventient location as well. They even send my sister pictures and updates through the day. I would suggest you give this place a look if you need childcare.

Questions parents ask about Little Jacks Corner North
Is Little Jacks Corner North a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Little Jacks Corner North holds Maryland licence 1746226232379x316827736819231360, listed as "PROVISIONAL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Washington County. The licence is recorded as Provisional, running to August 28, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Little Jacks Corner North's standing?
- Maryland records Little Jacks Corner North's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Little Jacks Corner North licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 42 infant places and 60 school-age places for Little Jacks Corner North. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Little Jacks Corner North operate all year?
- Maryland records Little Jacks Corner North as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Little Jacks Corner North?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Little Jacks Corner North's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
