  • I can't even begin to describe how great LPP has been for my daughter and her development. We started in June 2023, and have progressed through the classes. Each one has been a great, unique experience, and each has contributed positively to my daughter growing into a special, more independent child. She's been learning a lot, and has been questioning the world around her. We could not be happier with LPP.

  • Our family has two generations of proud LPP alum. My husband, and all three of our children got their start in education at Little People’s Place, and it set them on a path of success! We love LPP!

  • Our daughter has been going to LPP since Jan 2022, and is now getting ready to graduate from PreK. We have loved our time here and she always loves going to school. The teachers and staff are all very attentive and caring. I can't say enough good things about LPP!!

  • Where do I even begin? Little People's Place has been an incredible blessing to our family! In the nearly three years we've been part of this community, we’ve never had a single bad experience. Every day, I leave my child in the care of Mrs. Randi, Mrs. Christie, and Mrs. Alexa knowing she is safe, loved, nurtured, and having fun while learning. The amazing staff has truly become like extended family, and I’m so deeply thankful for each of them. I always say it takes truly special people to care for someone else's child—and this place is filled with the very best. You can genuinely see how much they care, treating our children as if they were their own. It gives me so much peace to head to work each day knowing my daughter is surrounded by love, protection, and encouragement. I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to grow and thrive.

  • My daughter has been at LPP for a year and a half, and she loves it. She misses school on the days that she stays home! The teachers are wonderful. You could not ask for better teachers. The classrooms are well equipped to foster both learning and play. And the playground is the biggest I've ever seen! Definitely recommend.

  • Cannot say enough about Little Peoples Place. I love the care, attention, and level of education the children receive. I’ve known so many children , and now grandchildren that have gone to LPP and the vast majority are now honor roll students. My grandson also benefited tremendously from his first 5 years at LPP it was a perfect start to his academic journey. Love this daycare/school and would highly recommend.

Questions parents ask about Little People's Place

Is Little People's Place a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Little People's Place holds Maryland licence 1746223782205x375006008946982660, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Carroll County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to July 31, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

How many children is Little People's Place licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 1 infant place and 75 school-age places for Little People's Place. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Little People's Place operate all year?

Maryland records Little People's Place as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Little People's Place?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Little People's Place's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
