I really liked this daycare for my son. I'm sorry things did not work out for him. The teachers and staff were great. My son was very fond of Mrs. Vein and Mrs. Sheila.
Maria OwensSep 1, 2023I wanted to have high hopes for this daycare/preschool .The director was very sweet , I can tell that she was trying her best to run a great facility. She let my son play with the other kids when we were doing a tour . The kids were doing outside water play. I did notice one of the teachers ( an older white lady ) was basically looking at my son in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. So I was already having an uneasy feeling about her. The director and I came back around I outside where I could see the kids playing. A white child started to splash muddy water on a black kid and made him cry and the white child laughed. It was 6 adults outside and nobody notice that the child was being bullied . My son (who is black as well )went to go check on the kid that was crying . Then my son went back to the water and tried to clean his shoes . The white teacher who i believe had a scolding glare at him earlier came over to him. The lady told him “ You shouldn’t be splashing water on any body . “ She then proceeded to say something else before I intervened. I told her “ No ‘that wasn’t my son. It was the other little boy that splashed that kid. My son did not splash or harm that child.” The lady turned around and asked the child “ who splashed you ? “ . The child stated who it was . I will not mention the child’s name . The lady did not apologize to me nor my son. She told the other little boy to go in the building. However , I still felt that she targeted my son. I didn’t like the fact that she didn’t ask before she tried to reprimand him. I honestly would not recommend this place for anyone who has a child Of color .
