  • My daughter has been attending MVLC for a year and a half and I am so pleased with the care she receives and with how much she has learned (and continues to learn)! Special s/o to Ms. Danielle and Ms. Chyna and really, the whole MLVC staff for all that you all do on a day to day basis. The welcoming attitudes, the events/ activities that are hosted… THANK YOU! I recommend MVLC to anyone who seeks a learning center that is holistic in its approach to educate young, bright minds!

  • I can’t say enough amazing things about My Village Learning Center! From the very first day, I felt like my daughter was not just enrolled in a school, but welcomed into a family. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every child feels safe, loved, and supported. In just a short time, I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter — academically, socially, and emotionally. She comes home excited to share what she’s learned, whether it’s new words, songs, or even the little things like sharing and helping others. That kind of joy and confidence means everything to me as a parent. What makes My Village Learning Center truly special is the way they combine learning with care. It’s not just about ABCs and 123s — they nurture the whole child. Every teacher is patient, passionate, and genuinely invested in each child’s success. I also appreciate how the center keeps parents updated and involved, making it feel like a true partnership in my child’s education. Finding trustworthy childcare is not easy, but My Village Learning Center has given me total peace of mind. I know every day when I drop her off, she’s in the best hands. I am forever grateful for the love, structure, and positive environment they’ve created. This really is more than a learning center — it’s a village, and I’m so glad my daughter and I are part of it!

  • My kids have been going to My Village since 2020 and they love it. My daughter started at two years old and by the time she turned four, she was able to write her first and last name, recognize all her alphabets and much more. She also grew out of her shyness and blossomed into a social butterfly. She is now in first grade and still attends My Village for aftercare.

  • My son started here for aftercare, a month before school ended for the 2024/25 school year and loved it. I signed him up for summer camp 2025 and I was highly impressed with his summer. The camp out did me lol. Any incident that happened, was handled in a professional and family way, which I loved. Show’s how they really care about the kids. My daughter was on the waitlist for infants and finally got in and she’s such a happy girl being in her new setting. I searched to make sure my kids were in a great and learning environment and I wanted them both to attend together. I feel like I made the best choice for my babies. Can’t wait to see them grow with MVLC over the next few years, highest power willing ❤️ They have a great team of professionals with feelings leading these kids!

  • This is one of the best daycare you can ever find, very great school for your kids, the teachers are very welcoming and kind, my child never came home to say any negative thing about anything, she was always happy to go to school and always saying how she love her teacher. Thank you MVLC, you people made things easy for me and family 😍👍

  • Dear, My Village Learning Center, I am writing to inform you that my son, Liam , will no longer be attending My Village Learning Center, effective immediately. This decision comes as a result of an incident that occurred on [June 3,2024] and the subsequent handling of the situation by the daycare staff. On the aforementioned date, I arrived at the daycare around 5:45 PM to pick up my son. Upon my arrival, I noticed he was visibly upset. When I inquired about his distress, I was told by my son that another child had hit him. While an employee began to explain what had transpired, the owner of the daycare interrupted and instructed the employee to remain silent.I found the owner’s actions to be highly inappropriate and dismissive of my legitimate concerns as a parent. As a parent, my priority is the safety and well-being of my child, and it is essential that any incidents involving my son are communicated to me transparently and honestly. The owner’s refusal to allow the employee to provide a clear explanation of the incident and her insistence on maintaining silence were unacceptable and demonstrated a lack of regard for my concerns and my son’s well-being.Furthermore, the owner's remark that she does not have children and therefore cannot understand my feelings as a parent was both irrelevant and insensitive. It is crucial for daycare providers to empathize with parents and prioritize the safety and emotional health of the children in their care, regardless of their personal circumstances.Given these circumstances, I have lost confidence in My Village Learning Center ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my son. Therefore, I have decided that it is in my son’s best interest to withdraw him from your program.I request that any remaining balance on our account be refunded and that you provide me with a copy of my son’s records for my files. I would appreciate confirmation of receipt of this letter and the processing of these requests at your earliest convenience.Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Joey Sr

Questions parents ask about My Village Learning Center

Is My Village Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. My Village Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746209596533x838142314573056400, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore City. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to January 31, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about My Village Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records My Village Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is My Village Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 3 infant places and 15 school-age places for My Village Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does My Village Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records My Village Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for My Village Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects My Village Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
