  • I would strongly caution families against enrolling at this facility. Since the hiring of the current director, there has been a significant and concerning decline in leadership, communication, and overall standards of care. I am not alone in this experience—several families have either left or are actively seeking alternative care due to similar issues. There appears to be a pattern of poor management, questionable use of resources, and a lack of accountability. Additionally, there is a noticeable level of favoritism among staff, with many positions seemingly filled by relatives or close personal connections, which raises further concerns about fairness and oversight. During a meeting with the director and my child’s teacher, I experienced what I would describe as unprofessional and dismissive behavior. The director displayed a negative attitude throughout the conversation, including visible facial expressions that conveyed frustration and lack of respect. Additionally, my child was directly compared to other children in their care in a way that did not reflect an understanding that each child develops and behaves differently. This approach was both inappropriate and concerning. When I informed the facility of my decision to withdraw my child, the primary focus of the conversation shifted to ensuring payment for the required notice period, despite my child no longer attending. While I understand policies regarding tuition and notice, the lack of acknowledgment or concern for the issues I raised was disappointing and reinforced my concerns about the center’s priorities. While the center identifies itself as faith-based, my experience did not reflect the values of integrity, transparency, or genuine care that such a designation implies. Most importantly, the environment has created unnecessary stress for my family and has not provided the level of professionalism or support that any parent should expect when entrusting others with their child’s care. I cannot recommend this facility and would strongly encourage others to thoroughly evaluate all options before making a decision.

  • My child is non verbal & she’s not always the easiest to handle. But they’ve been patience & we’ve had meanings on how me as a parent & them as a daycare can help her grow & become better. She’s happy here & they’re happy to have her. No complaints from me.

  • If you are considering this daycare, ask VERY specific questions about how they handle behavior before enrolling your child. My granddaughter was dismissed, and the way it was handled was completely unacceptable. There was little to no communication leading up to the decision, no meaningful effort to work with us, and no clear documentation showing that proper behavioral interventions or progressive discipline were ever used. Children need guidance, structure, and support—not to be pushed out when challenges come up. Instead of working with us, this center chose the easiest route: dismissal. What makes this even more concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated situation. I am personally aware of at least three other children who were dismissed under similar circumstances. That points to a pattern, not a one-time issue. For a center that presents itself as being values-based, the lack of patience, communication, and support shown to families in difficult situations is deeply disappointing. This experience also caused unnecessary stress and delays in securing new childcare, which is a serious burden for any working family. I strongly question whether Maryland childcare regulations around positive guidance and expulsion prevention are being consistently followed here. I would not recommend this center to families who need communication, patience, and a true partnership in supporting their child’s development. Do your research. Ask hard questions. And make sure you choose a center that will work with your child—not give up on them.

Questions parents ask about New Creations Learning Center

Is New Creations Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. New Creations Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746215557951x676709456461059200, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Wicomico County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to September 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about New Creations Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records New Creations Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is New Creations Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 12 infant places for New Creations Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does New Creations Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records New Creations Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for New Creations Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects New Creations Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
