Maryland publishes an infant band and a school-age band and no others, so these are not a total capacity and say nothing about toddler or preschool places.

Not currently operating on this licence

Maryland records this provider’s status as “Voluntary Closure”, so New Day Preschool is not currently operating under this licence. The record can lag a reopening. Confirm with the provider or check Check Child Care Maryland rather than treating this page as current.

  • Extremely Disappointed and Hurt – Not a Place for Every Child or Family I had a deeply upsetting experience with this school. My daughter was enrolled in the 3s class, and from day one, it felt like the only thing that mattered to the administration and teachers was money. There was no genuine care, no warmth — just a transactional relationship. When I decided to pull my daughter out (for good reason), no one even acknowledged it. No goodbye. No follow-up. No effort to return her belongings. It was like she was never there, which speaks volumes about how little they truly value the children in their care. To make matters worse, my 3-year-old came home repeating things like “shut your mouth” — something we do not say at home. That’s not the kind of language any parent expects their child to pick up from a preschool environment. Looking back, I now understand why she would cry every morning at drop-off. Maybe it’s because she was the only Latina in her class. Maybe it’s because, as a 24-year-old mom, I felt completely out of place among other parents who were 15+ years older and, frankly, not welcoming. Either way, my daughter and I both felt like outsiders from day one. Do better — for the children you’re supposed to serve and for the families who trust you

  • This was my first year enrolling my 3 year old (now 4) to New Day Pre-School. My neighbor recommended me to New Day because she also sent all 3 of her kids there. A lot of the staff and teachers have been there for over a decade and dedicate themselves to helping prepare preschoolers for Kindergarten. The community here is a village and everyone offers so much thoughtfulness, love and carness towards the children. I couldn't of asked for a better experience for my toddler. I love seeing all the fun projects my toddler brings home almost daily and to see him smile with his accomplishments! As a parent, you want your child to be surrounded by good people and a good support system and New Day offers just that and more! I highly recommend New Day to any parent is in that transition from your child being home to getting them used to a school environment!

  • //// DON'T PASS UP THIS SCHOOL! //// Having just moved to the area I had high expectations. The staff and families here have far surpassed our hopes! Our son LOVES his teachers and friends. He has not only excelled in class but also socially. The tight-knit family that is built here is what makes this school so sweet to me. Stacy, the school director, is dedicated to making sure things run smoothly. Our teachers truly enjoy what they do!

  • We have so loved our time at New Day Preschool. Such a warm and loving community for little ones to learn and grow. They not only prepared my kids well for kindergarten, but taught them the importance of being a good friend and showing love and appreciation for the world we live in. Most teachers have been there for many years and the directors are very communicative and supportive. Happy teachers who love their jobs= happy children who love school ❤️

  • This has been a great fit for our son! We loved being able to choose what was best for our schedule: 2, 3 or 5 days a week. For his 2's year he did two days a week, and for 3's year he did 3 days a week. He has also thoroughly enjoyed the after school enrichment classes! Everyone here is so kind and warm, and they do a nice job keeping the parents updated and in the loop. Unfortunately, we are moving before his last year at NDP, and the idea of leaving is hard for all of us! We will miss NDP!

  • We enrolled our daughter in the 3's class and she couldn't be happier! Her teachers are incredibly warm, fun, and genuinely care about her well-being. We've already formed wonderful connections and friendships with other families in the school community. The school's app keeps us updated on our daughter's daily activities and shares her artwork, so we feel connected to her learning journey. The community atmosphere is truly special, and it's clear that the teachers are passionate about their work and dedicated to the children's development. The school also offers after school enrichment program such as soccer and Spanish!

What does Maryland record about New Day Preschool's standing?

Does New Day Preschool operate all year?

Maryland records New Day Preschool as a "School Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for New Day Preschool?
