From day one, the environment has been incredibly safe, welcoming, and supportive—not just for the children, but for their families as well. Ms. Mary is truly exceptional. She goes above and beyond in every way, showing genuine care, compassion, and dedication. It’s clear that she treats every child as if they were her own, and that kind of attention makes all the difference. The program itself has exceeded all our expectations. My daughter absolutely loves going every day. The days are filled with fun, educational and engaging activities. Ms Mary also plans fun field trips a few times a year (movies, pumpkin patch, park, library). We feel so fortunate to be part of the Nurturing Light Academy family. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.

The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to prepare the kids for kindergarten with a perfect balance of fun and learning. My child has developed a love for learning through engaging activities, arts and crafts, and early reading and math concepts. He has made many friends in school where Miss Mary also emphasizes social skills, teamwork, and independence. I am so grateful that my son looks forward to going every day, and we’ve seen a huge improvement in his confidence, socialization, and overall readiness for kindergarten. Highly recommend NLA to any parents looking for a nurturing and enriching environment to prepare their little one for school!

During the past 2 years attending Nuturing Light my son has grown tremendously academically and socially. She has not only taught him ALL of the kindergarten standards but has also taught him life skills like how to share, how to be a good friend, and hygience. She goes over and above by having the students engage in yoga, music and numerous field trips throughout the year. 5 stars!

From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that Ms. Mary genuinely cares about the children's well-being and development. My son has become so much more confident, social, and excited about learning. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, promoting creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. I’ve noticed improvements in his communication skills, and he comes home every day eager to share what he learned. The environment is warm, nurturing, and full of positivity. I truly feel like they’re in great hands and couldn’t be happier with our choice!

As a Christian Mom, I am very intentional about who I leave my kids with especially considering everything that’s going on in the world. Mary is not just a ‘regular’ child care provider, she goes the extra mile to instill the right values into my kids and I am super grateful for that!
