  • The Parking for visitors has become quite a problem. Most visitor spaces are full. I was taught to always visit the elderly, but now I'm rethinking. Most empty spaces are reserved, handicapped or you might find a couple hourly spots, resulting in a long walk. That might allow only 15 min to visit. Please speak up to help make the situation better. Is the full time help using the available spots? Hope they make a change soon.

  • I had an emergency and needed to use the shower l, the water was ice cold and this is in the middle of winter, you would think a community center for the community would have hot water. I reported this to the front desk, I was told they put in a tab, a month and a half later it’s not fixed, I made another complaint but this time they told me somthing interesting. I was told that no one really uses the shower so that’s why the hot water isn’t running, WHAT!! We pay monthly memberships here and y'all made the executive decision that we do not need hot water because we don’t shower?? Are you kidding me. Like this is the low level corruption we be talking about, who gave you the right to decide that everyone doesn’t need hot water. Maybe no one showers because the shower is ice cold, i already barley get to use the gym and basket ball court as much I as I would like even if I pay to use it because every other day yall hosting an event for seniors or highschool or middle school and close off the basketball court but now I can’t even get some hot water in the winter. Im pulling my membership this is just state up scamming.

  • Nice place, well kept up. Ms. Mack the leader was amazing she stuck with us the whole to make sure that we had everything that we needed she was on time with suggestions and we love way that her staff worked in insync with her wishes. We'd definitely recommend the community center to others on which we have!

Questions parents ask about Oakcrest Community Center

Is Oakcrest Community Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Oakcrest Community Center holds Maryland licence 1746225621350x543946875951166340, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to August 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Oakcrest Community Center's standing?

Maryland records Oakcrest Community Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Oakcrest Community Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 20 school-age places for Oakcrest Community Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Oakcrest Community Center operate all year?

Maryland records Oakcrest Community Center as a "School Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Oakcrest Community Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Oakcrest Community Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
