  • We absolutely love PCCHC. All of the teachers are so friendly and work great together as a team. I leave my 1 year old every day know she is going to be so well taken care of and loved. She gets so excited walking in every morning. It’s a great family feel center. I cannot express how great all of the teachers are and how caring they are to the kids and the parents.

  • Update in response to the center’s public reply: We appreciate the professional tone of the response posted here. However, for transparency, all of these concerns were sent directly in writing on 9/5/25 in our withdrawal email. The only response we received at that time was a restatement of the two-week tuition policy and our official withdrawal date. None of the specific issues - including cleanliness concerns, multiple illness cases within two weeks, transportation record errors, unmonitored administrative messaging, or repeated paperwork mistakes - were acknowledged or addressed. Additionally, this public response was posted approximately five months after the original review. While we understand businesses may respond on their own timeline, the delay further reinforces our original concerns regarding communication and responsiveness. The public response suggests these concerns are reviewed internally, but that was not reflected in our direct communication experience. Our frustration was never about the existence of a withdrawal policy; it was about the absence of accountability, clarification, or reassurance regarding safety and organizational errors involving our child. When concerns involving health protocols, record accuracy, and child transportation are raised, parents reasonably expect more than a policy reminder. We are sharing our experience so other families can make informed decisions. We stand by what we wrote. Original review: We withdrew our child after just two weeks at Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center because of repeated issues that left us deeply concerned about the facility’s cleanliness, organization, and communication. Unfortunately, our concerns were not acknowledged or addressed - only a reminder that we were still required to pay for the two-week notice period. Some of the issues we experienced: The facility consistently had an unpleasant odor, raising questions about cleanliness. Within less than two weeks, we learned of three cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease. Transportation records contained major errors: they thought our 3rd grader was a kindergartner and even listed the wrong elementary school. Paperwork that was accurately completed by our pediatrician was repeatedly requested to be redone. Phone calls were answered without identifying who was speaking, making communication confusing. A message we sent regarding our child’s absence went unchecked, which created unnecessary confusion with our childs elementary school and their driver. We later learned administrator messages aren’t monitored with notifications. On top of these issues, the program itself is very costly for what you actually get. The aftercare program is only a maximum of 2.5 hours a day, yet the weekly cost is $185. For the quality and amount of care provided, the value simply does not match the price. When we raised these concerns in writing, the only response we received was an email restating the withdrawal policy and confirming we still had to pay for two weeks our child would not be attending. No acknowledgment of the specific issues or accountability for the mistakes we experienced. This left us with the impression that the program prioritizes policy and payment over the safety, communication, and trust that parents should expect in a childcare environment. We cannot recommend this facility based on our experience.

  • I was so worried to send my son to daycare. They have been absolutely amazing with him. If you have a concern about your child's learning or skills they work with you on helping your child. The staff is so amazing. My son absolutely loves it there!

  • Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center is the best. We absolutely love the teachers and the overall learning environment. My son has gained so much confidence and enjoys going to “school” to see his friends. So glad we enrolled!

  • My Daughter has been going here since she was 6 weeks old, and I wouldn't trust her with anyone else but PCHC! Their staff is phenomenal and caring and they honestly are like family. Would 100% recommend them for any childcare need :)

Questions parents ask about Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center

Is Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center holds Maryland licence 1746216892537x481021850335437600, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Anne Arundel County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to December 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center's standing?

Maryland records Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 28 school-age places for Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center operate all year?

Maryland records Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Pasadena Child Care and Homework Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
