  • My son has been going here for years and I can say he loves it. Kids will be kids and things happen and any time if something has happened I was told about it. He has learned a lot of things being at Play and Learn and I would do it all over again if I had to...Love all the teachers I am always greeted when I walk in and when I leave..This is my sons last year and I want to thank everyone for everything ...

  • Play and Learn is very sorry for the negative experience that you and your husband had with our program. Our teachers work very hard to provide a high quality child care and education program to our children and families, and toward that goal, we are committed to on-going professional development, program support, and continued participation in Maryland EXCELS and accreditation by the Maryland State Department of Education. Although we understand that various child care programs may or may not meet a variety of family needs, we appreciate having the opportunity to provide tours of our center in order to give our potential families a chance to see what we have to offer and to get to know us personally.

  • WORST DAYCARE I HAVE EVER EVER PUT MY SON IN!!!!!! In less than 90 days he had been to URGENT CARE FOR TWO HORRIBLE INCIDENTS DUE TO LACK OF SUPERVISION. One required x rays and the other required FOUR STITCHES AND MY TWO YEAR OLD WILL HAVE THAT SCAR FOREVER!!! Peyton promises you the world but does not deliver. It sounds all great in the beginning looks like a decent facility for an OK price but come to find out these teachers DONT WATCH THE KIDS!!! My son would come home everyday and instead of learning anything he would say “Adam hit me Adam bit me Judy fell judy cry” horrible stuff!!! My son was getting hit and other kids in the facility were also having accidents. The report they are supposed to fill out was never complete and always had inaccurate information!!! He never learned a damn thing!! The teachers in there hate each other and say the other is in there just for a paycheck. They don’t acknowledge you when you walk in the room to pick up your child their favorite response is I don’t know! My son has come home on several occasions with scratches and bruises with no explanations!! My son was given milk he was allergic to for a whole week which gave him diarrhea!!! Everyone in there could care less about you and care less about your child!! Believe me this place is horrible!! THEY ARE ALSO UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE STATE MARYLAND BOARD OF EDUCATION! Stay Away!!!!

  • Being new to the area, it took me a very long time to find a childcare center that fit my needs - I wanted a center where "play" and "hands on activities" were used to teach instead of worksheets. My two boys (ages 2 and 4) really enjoyed their time at Play and Learn. Every day they would come home with different drawings or fun activities that they had done. The teachers were great and Kim, the director, was very involved and easily accessible if I had any questions.

Questions parents ask about Play and Learn at Eastpoint

Is Play and Learn at Eastpoint a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. Play and Learn at Eastpoint holds Maryland licence 1746221761766x988315631267352200, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to March 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about Play and Learn at Eastpoint's standing?

Maryland records Play and Learn at Eastpoint's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Play and Learn at Eastpoint licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 6 infant places and 15 school-age places for Play and Learn at Eastpoint. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does Play and Learn at Eastpoint operate all year?

Maryland records Play and Learn at Eastpoint as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Play and Learn at Eastpoint?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Play and Learn at Eastpoint's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
