This is one of the best facilities for children. They have everything you want there. They have an education daily curriculum that kids have everyday. They learn various different subjects. They have art. They have outside playground. They have story time. They have nap time. This is the best place and for our little boy it did him wonders. He is now in the second grade at striving with straight A's and I am firmly convinced it was because of the foundation by to play and learn center at Hunt valley. The person in charge of the program is the ultimate best person to deal with. She's super nice. The teachers are great. I highly recommend this place.
John KMay 5, 2026I went for a tour today and the infant room smelled like urine and a lot of unsanitary smells. I wouldn’t be comfortable leaving my newborn here for $550/week…
Aliha NasrullahApr 25, 2026I am deeply concerned about the treatment of children I have personally witnessed at this center. I have seen staff grab children by the arm and sit them down roughly. One child, who has been diagnosed with autism, was threatened with not being allowed to eat simply because he was crying. I have also seen a teacher squeeze children’s arms and handle them inappropriately. There have been multiple occasions where children were left unsupervised, yanked, or even strapped down in ways that felt unsafe and unacceptable. These actions do not reflect a safe or supportive environment for any child. I hope these issues are addressed immediately for the wellbeing of the children in this program.!!!!!!
Daniela ArguetaDec 5, 2025Not clean, they seem to brush you off when you ask questions and I have had other bad experiences, but can't comment on here about. Too expensive for the little bit of nothing they do
Courtney KuczynskiJul 13, 2025I'm extremely disappointed with the care my child received at this daycare. From poor communication with staff to a lack of supervision, this has been a frustrating experience. My child came home multiple times with unexplained bruises or dirty clothes, and when I asked for clarification, I was either brushed off or given vague answers. The facility does not seem clean or organized, and basic safety protocols appear to be lacking. I expected a nurturing, attentive environment — not one where I constantly worry about whether my child is being properly cared for. I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to other parents. Your child deserves better.
Cedric WilsonJun 28, 2025My son been there for 2 years now it's a pretty good place

What does Maryland record about Play and Learn at Hunt Valley's standing?
- Maryland records Play and Learn at Hunt Valley's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Play and Learn at Hunt Valley licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places for Play and Learn at Hunt Valley. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Play and Learn at Hunt Valley operate all year?
- Maryland records Play and Learn at Hunt Valley as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Play and Learn at Hunt Valley?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Play and Learn at Hunt Valley's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
