  • We have loved our time at Primrose! I am truly amazed at how much growth and development my son has made over the last year. Ms. Anna is so wonderful and my son adores her! The staff and management are warm, friendly and always there to answer any questions you may have. This was my son’s first time in a school setting, I was very nervous at first - but the staff and teachers at Primrose helped with the transition every step of the way. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for us this year! Truly a special place

  • Amazing day care for our 2 year old. The teachers and staff are the greatest, and from top to bottom they foster a welcoming and thriving community. My child has also shown such strong development learning here. This is also a new, large facility, and provides meals & snacks, which sets is apart from other schools in the area and gives us even more value. Thank you Primrose!

  • Primrose of Southeast Ellicott City is a very good child care facility. The staff are very warm and welcoming. They are very understanding and address our concerns / requests immediately. Maintenance of the school is really reallyy good..!!! Class rooms are well equipped with all the necessary toys, beds, etc…along with good teacher to student ratio. We are sending our son to this place and we dont a single complaint. They also provide very good healthy nutritious food to the kids. Kids have a great time at the school with all the various activities. I highly recommend this place to others parents looking for a good child care facility…!!

  • Primrose School of SE Ellicott City has been an absolute blessing for our family. Every day I drop my child off, I feel peace in my heart because I know they are walking into a place where they are genuinely loved, protected, and encouraged. There is a warmth here that you can feel the moment you step through the doors—like you’re joining a community, not just a school. Ms. Claire, my child's teacher, is truly one of a kind. She is loving, kind, and so patient, and the way she cares for my child feels deeply personal and sincere. Ms. Claire doesn’t just teach—she nurtures. She understands that little hearts need gentleness, reassurance, and steady guidance, and she gives that so beautifully. Watching my child grow more confident, more curious, and more comfortable in their own skin has been one of the greatest gifts, and I know Ms. Claire plays a big part in that. It means everything to have a teacher who treats your child with tenderness, respect, and genuine joy. I also want to uplift the leadership at Primrose SE Ellicott City. Viral, the owner, and Ms. Rhonda, the Director of Education, lead with care you can truly see and feel. They are present, attentive, and deeply invested in the children and families they serve. Their compassion and concern aren’t just words—it’s reflected in the nurturing environment they’ve created, the way children are supported, and the way families are welcomed. It’s clear they’ve built something special here: a place where children feel safe, cherished, and inspired to learn and thrive. We are so grateful to be part of Primrose SE Ellicott City, and so very grateful to all of the educators and staff. If you are looking for a school where your child will be cared for with patience, love, and true heart, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

  • Our son started at Primrose about a month ago, and we’ve had a very positive experience so far. The transition was emotional at first (as expected), but the teachers were patient, kind, and very reassuring to both him and us as parents. In just a short time, we’ve noticed growth in his communication, social skills, and independence. He talks about his teachers and friends at home, which makes us feel confident he’s in a caring and supportive environment. The staff keeps us updated on his day, including meals, naps, and activities, which gives us peace of mind. The space feels safe, clean, and well-organized.

  • We absolutely love Primrose School! The management and staff are so caring, loving, and approachable. My son feels happy, safe, and excited to go every day, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. They make life really easy for families — providing all meals (breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks), backpacks, beds, blankets, and even handling laundry. It’s such a relief knowing everything is taken care of! Overall, it’s a warm, safe, and fun place for kids to learn and grow. We highly recommend Primrose School to other families!

What does Maryland record about Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City's standing?

Maryland records Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 12 infant places for Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does this page show inspection results for Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Primrose School of Southeast Ellicott City's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
