  I have waited a while before writing this review. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The environment felt unwelcoming despite outward appearances, and I found the leadership to be rude and disrespectful. More importantly, I did not see meaningful learning or development taking place. While the school presents itself as academically focused, the curriculum does not seem to adequately prepare students. I encourage others to look closely at the materials being used and how current they are. I was also concerned about the after-school program. It was advertised, but in reality, it did not appear to be properly established or organized. Additionally, I had a serious safety concern involving transportation. I was uncomfortable with the expectation that a young child would ride alone with an unfamiliar individual, whose role was unclear and who was not consistently present. Based on my experience, I would advise other parents to thoroughly research and ask detailed questions before enrolling their child.

  Look no further for a daycare! Rainbow is the school for your family. It’s a great Christian education, using Abeka curriculum. Over the course of four years at Rainbow of Fort Washington, my little one has grown so much. She has learned a lot, including Spanish, Math, Reading etc. They have encouraged excitement for learning everyday. My little one graduated and didn’t want to leave. She adopted a school mom and simply loved it here. She left and tested above her peers. Parents get something too. You will not be disappointed here.

  My Child has been going to rainbow since she was a toddler. I am very impressed with the staff and administration there. I know every place has some issues and you can not make everyone happy, but being a former preschool teacher in VA. I can say this place gets 5 stars. The property is well kept along with the cleanliness of the center. The director takes the time to speak with parents about concerns and most of the teachers are knowledgeable of what they are teaching your child to get them to the next level. The prices are fair and they do not nickle and dime you for fees. This is my daughter last year and I am very sad, but she will return to summer camp every year. Way to go Mrs. Kim and Maria on a JOB WELL DONE!

  RCC is best childcare in town! It was recommended to me by several friends that are Early Childhood Development Educators so I did not bother looking anywhere else. After the tour, I knew this was the place I wanted my child to be. Fortunately, I do not have another childcare provider to compare it with. When surveying parents from my child's class, I was assured there is no need to look any where else. My oldest has been there three years and my toddler will join soon. As a working parent, I am happy to see my child happy every day. The staff is very professional and experienced as well. Check it out for yourself!

  We absolutely LOVE Rainbow Child Care in Ft. Washington. After having moved our daughter (who will be 3 in Aug) from Kiddie Academy in Oxon Hill, we kick ourselves every day for not having checked out Rainbow sooner. Our daughter's growth and demeanor is night and day now. She enjoys going to school, she loves her friends, and she loves her teachers. It is such a relief.
