Our son went to CECC for 4 years and had the best experience. Sarah and Brittany are so loving and create an amazing environment for the children. Beyond ensuring his happiness, they took the lead in teaching him his letters, numbers, proper social skills, and fine motor skills. They also have the best summer program -- trips 2-3 times a week and amazing themed weeks. Our son tells us how much he loves Sarah and Brittany and how they are his best friends :) We strongly recommend CECC for anyone looking for a fun, educational, inclusive, and caring environment for their children.
Brett LinowesOct 7, 2025We joined CECC in august 2021 and our daughter quickly fell in love with all the teachers! They were patient and kind with her and truly got to know her and her likes / dislikes. Our daughter was excited for drop off each morning and the teachers seemed genuinely happy to see her each day. They also worked with us and the county infants and tots program in working towards speech / language development goals. The CECC program offers a hands on approach to learning. One of the best parts was getting all the crafts home every week to see what she’s accomplished in that week. The teachers communicated very well both at drop off / pick up and through the app with photos and messages. I would definitely recommend their program! We decided to move out of the area and were sad to leave CECC. We will miss all the teachers and their hands on support for our daughter.
Michelle BAug 25, 2022My son attended CECC for 2 years and my only regret is I wish I found them sooner! Ms Sarah and Ms Stacy are amazing with the kids. I have complete trust in them and they have even gotten my son to step out of his shell. They have a great curriculum for learning and plan the best events, field trips, etc. If you are able to have a spot for your child here, consider yourself lucky ☺️
Stephanie HuynhAug 11, 2022CECC IS THE 💣. My children started in the summer of 2020 even due to Covid Ms. Sarah was still open and made sure she followed all guidelines. She didn’t play any games. That’s one of things I loved. She communicates with you on everything and make sure you’re always in the loop. Something is always going for the children to always be engaged. My girls love her and I wouldn’t send them no where else. My youngest daughter is very sensitive and Ms. Sarah makes sure she is comfortable ALWAYS. You have to check this center out you won’t regret it I promise. They are really like a family and they are so welcoming. Just wait until you go to the carnival. CECC is the place for your little one to be to just say the least!
Daijah WashingtonOct 27, 2021CECC has been amazing! They have handled all covid-precautions very well. My kids (both now 2 & 4) love all their teachers. The summer program was excellent and my kids got to enjoy various community outings. The lines of communication is always open. Everyday my kids are happy to see them and their friends. I have so much confidence in the care that I wish I found them earlier! Thank you for all you do for the kids! Please check them out!
Ann LSep 22, 2021❗Update because of Covid-19 my son doesn't have a spot any longer. Back story he was 3 months when he first went now he's 1. This is the only other place he's was familiar with outside of home. Ao it's very unfortunate that he can't return for whatever reason. I'll look for another center be informal or formal. As long as I feel comfortable with the atmosphere for my son. Original post: Instantly I felt warm and comfortable with Ms.Sarah. At that point I knew he would be taken care of as if he were her own! He has know been with CECC for 5 months and it's a great experience!

Questions parents ask about Creative Explorers Child Care
Is Creative Explorers Child Care a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Creative Explorers Child Care holds Maryland licence 1746222249795x116640588635084080, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to August 30, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Creative Explorers Child Care's standing?
- Maryland records Creative Explorers Child Care's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Creative Explorers Child Care licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 1 infant place and 11 school-age places for Creative Explorers Child Care. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Creative Explorers Child Care?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Creative Explorers Child Care's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
