I highly recommend the Y Preschool because my son has attended since he was six months old. During his time there, he has developed strong reading skills, learned how to interact positively with other children, and gained confidence in a structured learning environment. The teachers have provided a caring and supportive atmosphere that has helped prepare him both academically and socially for kindergarten. I truly appreciate the positive impact the Y Preschool has had on his growth and development.

Latasha TaylorFeb 22, 2024Such an odd experience, we set up a walkthrough prior to putting ourselves on the waiting list. Nice childcare center, though the younger than two spaces are basically all cribs, so we wanted to wait until the 2+ room. We got done with the tour and got something like a used car sales pitch—“sign up today and you can skip the line”. We knew two other families on the waiting list and that they wanted in and asked about the ethics of this. We were told they get one call, no voicemails. We’ve heard similar stories from other people—white folks (like us) getting an offer to skip the line. Very disturbing, and enough we no longer consider this an option.
