  I am not a member of Sport fit. I attend the Chesapeake bay aquatic physical therapy center that rents from this facility. I love Chesapeake aquatics. Jessi is fantastic. Our pool, that is used for physical therapy is in the same room as the sport fit pool. Today while I had my physical therapy (for fibromyalgia, arthritis, and hypermobility ehlors danlos syndrome) a manager of sport fit came and opened all the widows on our wall. Didnt ask, didn't say anything, just opend all the windows. While I understand Chesapeake aquatics does not rent the windows and cant touch them, its really crappy when its 68° out and a lot of us have muscle damage, nerve issues, and connective tissue disorders. To get out of the pool (thats heated and 92°) and instantly start shivering causing my whole body to tense up, kind of defeats the purpose of my physical therapy. And for someone like myself who cant regulate their body temperature, caused by fibromyalgia, its not safe. Hypothermia can set in within minutes. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

  I absolutely love Sport Bowie Gym. The facility offers a wide variety of great classes, and the team; especially Manny, Gina, and Michelle has been incredibly welcoming from day one. If you’re looking for a gym that makes you feel like home, this is the one for you. Michelle is an absolute staple and one of the biggest assets at the gym. Her group fitness classes are consistently relevant, challenging, and highly engaging. I always know I’m going to get a quality, effective workout when I attend one of her sessions. What truly sets Michelle apart is her excellent combination of deep knowledge and a warm, personable approach. She has all the intangibles that make a great group fitness instructor: she motivates the entire room without being intimidating, explains movements clearly for all fitness levels, and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels supported and encouraged to push their limits. Michelle played a major role in my own fitness journey. After being sidelined for seven months with an ankle injury, her classes were a key reason I felt confident and motivated enough to return to the gym. She helped me rebuild strength and confidence safely and effectively through her well-structured group sessions. If you’re looking for a group class instructor who delivers real results while making the experience enjoyable and approachable, I highly recommend Michelle. She’s the real deal and a huge part of what makes Sport Bowie Gym so special.

  Clean facility with separate rooms for boxing, working out; clean indoor pool with lap lanes and a child care area for babysitting as well as gathering before a kids class. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I bought a membership for my son to get more swimming lessons and am thinking about being one for myself!

  This facility has everything you need for working out. The classes are fantastic and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful visit. My one complaint is that the gym, especially the women’s locker room, needs major upgrades. With members paying a monthly fee for years, there’s no reason why the gym and locker rooms have not been upgraded.

  Went for the first time last month. Had a great intro PT session, but the cost per month was outrageous. Participated in the gentle yoga group class. 10/10. Gym was pretty empty around lunch time, which was great. They have pools, football field, tennis courts, and bball gym and a daycare which is a plus. Parking could be better.

  ***I am helping my son write this because he is 3.5 years old***: Ive only been going to to the school program here for a little bit and Ive had so much fun!!! We go swimming, sing songs, and we have fun everyday. I bring home homework to show my family and we have fun looking at it all. My teachers are nice to me and give me lunch. I want to try the sports here because Mom told me they have classes for kids too!!! If you or your kid come you will love it tooo
