  We couldn’t be happier at Suburban nursery school in Bethesda. My son is always so excited to arrive and is always welcomed with smiles and open arms which makes him feel so special. The children get lots of outdoor play on their incredible grounds, always playing with bubbles or various bikes/trikes, cubby house and play equipment. They have a weekly music class and movement class, craft and free play. The classrooms are so warm, CLEAN and filled with amazing trucks, building toys, dress ups, imagination play toys etc. truly a kids paradise. I never feel guilty about leaving my son because I know he’s going to have so much fun. I have toured so many in the area and nothing even came close to this. The staff are so warm and accommodating and we feel like we gained a family at Suburban which was lovely being so far from home.

  There is a reason that people travel from so far away to attend this nursery school. The teachers, the community, the facilities—they're all top notch! Not to mention that they do such a great job with kids who don't speak English as a first language, like my own. When my second child entered Suburban, it was rare—if ever—that he would output English. But once he left Suburban and entered elementary school, he was determined to be ineligible for any sort of English support services—his English language skills had become that good!

  Such a wonderful and supportive community of teachers and families. All of my kids have attended Suburban and we have been so happy with their experience there. Their play based learning, caring and supportive teachers, and enriching learning experiences have given my children a very positive early education experience. I love the vibrant classrooms and fantastic outdoor space. As a parent the co-op program has allowed me to be so involved and witness their learning first hand. Highly recommend 😊

  While we were researching various nursery schools, we noticed that the for-profit schools/daycares were run very differently from non-profits like Suburban. Ultimately, we wanted a place where our children can learn from teachers who LOVE teaching rather than just collecting a paycheck. After sending both children there, I can say that we got that at Suburban. It's a testament that most of the teachers, including the Director, had sent their children to the school and then decided to come back and teach, even after their kids had graduated. My kids loved going to school and asked to stick around the massive play area to play with their friends after school nearly everyday. We've made many friends with the other parents in the community. By joining a co-op, we're all like minded and focused on the early education of our children and we all contributed to that end Co-oping isn't for everyone, but I'd highly recommend the school to any parent who has the capacity and desire to do so. It's really fun to be there with your child and watch them learn and grow

  10 stars for Suburban Nursery School. I cannot say enough great things about this school. After having a rough start at another preschool, we moved both of our kids here and never looked back. They benefitted so much from the amazing teachers, awesome space and great friends they made. You cannot find a better director or more loving, kind, patient, warm, devoted teachers. The classrooms and outdoor space allow kids to explore their curiosities and have fun. The families who attend are kind and committed to the school and to helping all of the children succeed. Our kids really fell in love with school here. If you're on the fence about where to send your children, pick SNS. We are so thankful for Suburban Nursery School!
