We’ve had such a wonderful experience at The Joy of Learning Milford Mill! The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and truly go above and beyond to support each child. The center is clean, engaging, and filled with positive energy. My child has grown so much socially and academically since enrolling. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are in such a caring and structured environment every day. Highly recommend to any parent!
Umapple HelwaApr 19, 2026The staff is inconsistent, and the turnover is so frequent it’s hard to know who you’re dealing with from week to week. There is absolutely no sense of stability or clear communication. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency when it comes to fees. I was previously told late pickup fees were $1 per minute, but then suddenly I’m charged a flat $50+ fee with no clear explanation. Which one is it? Policies seem to change depending on the day, and that’s not acceptable. I was also told my child could not attend during spring break unless I paid an additional $300 for just that one week, despite being on a scholarship that is supposed to cover summer camp and days when school is closed. It feels like they are constantly looking for ways to charge parents extra rather than support families. Overall, the experience feels very money-driven and unprofessional. Parents deserve consistency, clear policies, and honesty—none of which I’ve experienced here.

Communication has greatly improved, and the Director is welcoming, responsive, and truly works with parents. My child loves coming to school and even talks about the treasure box in the office, which makes the kids feel so special. The staff’s positive energy, strong bonds with the children, and warm, playful classrooms have made such a difference. The entire center now feels organized, welcoming, and full of life. Highly recommend!
