The Learning Bee has been wonderful for my family. The enrollment process was clear and organized, and the staff was professional and supportive throughout. My daughter has now been attending for a month, and I’m very happy with the care she receives. The teachers are warm, attentive, and consistent in their communication. I can see how comfortable and happy she is there, which gives me real peace of mind. I’m truly pleased with our experience at The Learning Bee.
Fumi MimiJun 16, 2026Sending our child to The Learning Bee has been the best decision for our little one. They’ve truly become like an extension of our family. First of all, the staff is just wonderful. From the front desk to the teachers in the classrooms, everyone is so warm and genuinely happy to see the kids every morning. You can just tell they love what they do, and that peace of mind is everything as a parent. What I love most is how inclusive they are. They are amazing at accommodating all kinds of student needs. They get that every kid learns and grows differently, and they never take a one-size-fits-all approach. They meet your child exactly where they are and partner with you to make sure they're supported and thriving. You can also really see the thought and care they put into the daily activities. They do a fantastic job balancing everything: -Academically: They make learning so fun and creative, not just worksheets. -Socially: They're great at helping the kids learn to share, make friends, and navigate peer groups. -Emotionally: They really nurture their confidence and teach them how to handle big feelings with a lot of patience. If you’re looking for a place in Frederick where your child will be genuinely cared for, loved, and set up for success, definitely check out The Learning Bee. We've loved our time there and will miss them when our little one moves on!
Christopher MossJun 4, 2026We’ve had such a great experience with this daycare over the past three months. Everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming, and it really shows how much they care about the kids. My son’s teacher is amazing. We absolutely love her. She’s so patient, caring, and truly loves what she does. She’s made such a big difference in my son’s growth and confidence. It’s been so nice to watch how much he’s learned and grown since being here. I always feel comfortable knowing he’s in a safe, loving environment. We’re so grateful for everyone here and would definitely recommend this daycare to anyone!
Alexis SmithApr 27, 2026My family truly loves The Learning Bee. From the very beginning, we’ve felt so welcomed and supported. The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth and happiness. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is in an environment where they are not only learning, but also loved and understood. They are also very attentive and responsive to parents’ needs, which makes communication easy and reassuring. Choosing childcare is such an important decision, and we are so grateful we chose The Learning Bee. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any family who is still deciding — you will not regret it.

Questions parents ask about The Learning Bee
Is The Learning Bee a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. The Learning Bee holds Maryland licence 1746218929862x238144708629443940, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Frederick County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to September 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about The Learning Bee's standing?
- Maryland records The Learning Bee's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is The Learning Bee licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 21 infant places and 30 school-age places for The Learning Bee. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does The Learning Bee operate all year?
- Maryland records The Learning Bee as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for The Learning Bee?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Learning Bee's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
