  • Our son has been at Learning Tree for the past three years, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The teachers are kind, caring, and truly invested in the children. He has learned so much and is ready for kindergarten thanks to their support. We are so grateful for everything they've done and highly recommend Learning Tree!

  • We love The Learning Tree! 10/10 stars! My kiddo started there when she was 6 months old and she's now 3.5 years old and we have every intention to stay until she ages out! Their teacher retention is amazing so my kiddo still gets to see the teachers she had in baby room and the 2s room which is so fun that they get to keep seeing her grow up. Highly recommend sending your kid(s) here! They've been consistently wonderful for decades too as my younger brother went there ~30 years ago and my parents were thrilled with The Learning Tree back then too!

  • The Learning Tree is truly a wonderful place that should make any family feel that their child is in the best of hands. We are so fortunate to have discovered this wonderful child development center that promotes individualized learning and unrivaled socialization for kids 0-5. Our child has thrived from her experience there and we are so grateful that both the teachers and management are so caring and considerate. The Learning Tree strikes a great balance between free play and structured activities that encourage maximum opportunities for growth and development. Specifically, they are constantly doing creative projects with the kids, teaching unique songs, and engaging in fun activities outside. Communication is great and they have always collaborated with us to create the best learning environment possible. I can’t recommend it more highly for any families looking for childcare in the area. We are so happy we discovered The Learning Tree!

Questions parents ask about The Learning Tree Child Development Center

Is The Learning Tree Child Development Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. The Learning Tree Child Development Center holds Maryland licence 1746220209192x209841805506028030, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to September 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about The Learning Tree Child Development Center's standing?

Maryland records The Learning Tree Child Development Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is The Learning Tree Child Development Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 3 infant places and 20 school-age places for The Learning Tree Child Development Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does The Learning Tree Child Development Center operate all year?

Maryland records The Learning Tree Child Development Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for The Learning Tree Child Development Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Learning Tree Child Development Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
