  • My son went here for about 3 years and he loved it. We loved the staff and loved that the center focused on education and safety. I was never concerned with my son’s safety while he was there. He’s now in kindergarten and often ask to go back to Ms. Melissa’s class. The center had field trips and a bunch of activities for the kids. We enjoyed Lion of Judah so much we enrolled him for before and after school care and wanted to enroll our infant but we’re waiting for spots to open up. You won’t be disappointed with Lion of Judah!

  • Amazing day care all the teachers and directors are so lovely. My grandson learned a lot eat by himself, potty training, sing and they are religious 👌 love that. The Christmas shop was awesome.

  • The Lion of Judah has been so wonderful and i have had an amazing experience these past 3 years for both of my children. I commute 30-40 minutes everyday because i know my children are in excellent care. My children have learned a lot from their wonderful curriculum down to basic daily activities. Everyone is extremely nice and professional!

  • I never thought I would be able to trust a daycare with the care of my son, but our family loves LOJ. My son has thrived here. He started speaking a lot more after we enrolled him and he has become so social. You can tell he loves his teachers and friends. The daycare is organized and clean, which is a must for me. Teachers are responsive and respectful. The curriculum is engaging and educational. It being Christian based is a priceless bonus. We celebrated our son’s second birthday there, and we were allowed to celebrate by taking a petting zoo to the center. We are blessed to have found this place.

  • My son started at Lion of Judah earlier in 2025, and before that, we were worried because he wasn't talking. However, now he's a chatterbox. He never stops talking and greeting everyone. He loves Ms. Maleiah and asks about her every single time, even on weekends. We're now in the potty training stage, and they tell us they can't remember the last time they had to change a dirty diaper. I can't recommend this place enough.

  • We love the Lion of Judah. The director Ms.Kendall made the enrollment process seamless. She communicated each step of the way. The staff feel like family. My daughter looks forward to going to LOJ each day.

Questions parents ask about The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center

Is The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?

Yes. The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746209138335x290488981036302900, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to November 29, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.

What does Maryland record about The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center's standing?

Maryland records The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

How many children is The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center licensed for?

Maryland's record lists 3 infant places for The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.

Does The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Lion of Judah Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
