Very welcoming teachers. Our little one has learned so much there in just a few short years. Both my wife and I as well as our little one love the staff and how they conduct themselves and take care of him.
Ethan EvanoskiOct 24, 2025Our daughter has grown so much since joining. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly invested in helping each child succeed. The learning approach keeps kids curious and excited to come to school every day. Communication through the app is great. They always post pictures and our daughter loves coming here! Highly recommend newedge to any family looking for a warm, high-quality learning environment!
Weston FisherOct 15, 2025My son has been attending this daycare since he was 6 months old. He adores the teachers and has learned quite a bit, such as some basic sign language. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because sometimes there aren’t a lot of updates about the child’s day. They use an app to tell me when they changed his diaper or fed him, but often didn’t know what he did that day. Nearly everyday at pickup we were just told “He had a good day.” That’s great, but I’d love just a little more detail without needing to ask a bunch of questions. Something simple like, “He had a good day and really enjoyed finger-painting.” Or “He loved circle time and started dancing when we sang wheels on the bus.” Edit to add: since moving into an older classroom, there have been a lot more updates, pictures, and videos shared about his day.
Ann EvanoskiOct 3, 2025We had a very positive experience with the newborn nursery, even though our time there was brief. The registration process was seamless, and the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and informative—she made everything easy and reassuring. The space was always clean, with secure entry, which gave us extra peace of mind. I also appreciated the regular updates and photos through the app—it made me feel connected and confident that my daughter was in good hands. A special thank you to Ms. Akira for her gentle, attentive care. While we didn’t stay long, I would absolutely recommend this nursery to other families!
TaLiah AmesApr 30, 2025I put my daughter in this school because it came recommended by a family member and it just happened to be three blocks from my home. Little did I know that my daughter would thrive to the extent that she completed a Brigance test, and they have recommended that she go from pre-K 4 to 1st grade. That is not an uncommon occurrence from children who attend this daycare, and it has in my opinion all to do with their instillment of structure coupled with limitless academics. They have encouraged me to interview at very competitive schools. In my last interview I learned from the admission director at one of the most prestigious schools in Baltimore that Ms. Adeeba's family daycares are listed as a dropdown option of schools to choose from because children from these daycares are known to be strong learners. I highly recommend you send all your children to this school before they reach secondary level because it indeed pays off.
Jamila JenningsApr 11, 2025This daycare is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every child feels loved and cared for. The facility is always clean, safe, and filled with fun activities that keep kids happy and engaged.

Questions parents ask about The New Edge Learning Center
Is The New Edge Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. The New Edge Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746214378212x169483020944712670, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Anne Arundel County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to July 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about The New Edge Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records The New Edge Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is The New Edge Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 8 infant places and 15 school-age places for The New Edge Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for The New Edge Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The New Edge Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
