Maryland publishes an infant band and a school-age band and no others, so these are not a total capacity and say nothing about toddler or preschool places.

I love the Terry tots three of my grandchildren attends their and they do an amazing job with teaching and helping the Kids grow
MARCIA LOTTMar 30, 2026My child is a current student at the Terry Tots learning center. My niece also attends the after care and summer camp. My child came to this center at 10 months from a licensed center who neglected to properly care for her. My child became severely ill at her previous center and I was apprehensive about returning to the work force. I was referred to the Terry Tots center and I don’t regret it. The communication is superb. You’ve given immediate and daily reports on your child’s progress, illness, and development. The family like environment creates comfort and confidence for both the children and parents. And the structure, commitment, above and beyond care, and love is unmatched. As a former educator, I am very grateful for the commitment the educators make to our babies. My now 3 year old has surpassed milestones and is school ready. It doesn’t hurt that they assist with learning to walk, toilet train, and all other milestones. The weekly activities and celebrations is also appreciated. You can also get picture updates of your child and their daily activities; which also was a plus for me. My niece is also thriving. She is exceptionally bright and dealt with some taunting at school. The Terry Tot Staff provided amazing conflict resolution skills and even referred my niece to great recreational/social activities.
Gee DianneJul 18, 2024My daughter has been with the Terry ToTs since she was 6wks old she’ll be leaving this up coming school year. Questions parents ask about The Terry Tots
Is The Terry Tots a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. The Terry Tots holds Maryland licence 1746213449150x869024591532560300, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Baltimore City. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to November 29, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about The Terry Tots's standing?
- Maryland records The Terry Tots's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is The Terry Tots licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 3 infant places and 9 school-age places for The Terry Tots. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does The Terry Tots operate all year?
- Maryland records The Terry Tots as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for The Terry Tots?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Terry Tots's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
