The Valley has been an incredible experience for our family. My son has grown so much during his time there, and we are truly grateful for the care, support, and intentionality shown by the teachers and staff each day. The teachers are phenomenal and genuinely invest in the children, creating an environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. It’s clear that every child is valued and cared for. The school itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and located in a great area. The upkeep of the facilities is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming, safe, and nurturing. We have been so pleased with our experience and highly recommend The Valley to any family looking for a place where their child will be loved, encouraged, and given every opportunity to succeed.

Mrs. Patrick and Mrs. Bruford are kind, patient, and truly dedicated, creating a warm and nurturing learning environment. We have seen great growth in our daughter’s confidence and love for learning, and we highly recommend Valley School
Dheeraj ChintalaJan 6, 2026The valley school is our home away from home. From the moment we walk into the center. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the teachers are truly the best! My kids love going and get upset when we pick them up early because they want to stay longer! I can't recommend this place enough!!
Melissa M. GarganoDec 31, 2025I’ve been at the Valley school for about a year now and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s a very safe,CLEAN and family oriented environment. Every teacher that I’ve came in contact with has been great! From the time you enter the center you’re greeted with smiles laughter and short conversations. They all really care about every child at the center and it shows. I very happy here and glade that out of all the centers I toured I’ve made the right decision to start my son’s learning journey here.
Joshawna KakouDec 13, 2025We LOVE the Valley School! Our daughter has grown and learned so much. Communication has always been great, the teachers are wonderful, and it helps my momma heart to know my daughter feels safe and loved. She is currently in the Pre-K 4 program with Ms. Courtney and is thriving! She will definitely be ready for Kindergarten in the fall of next year. I can't recommend The Valley School enough. :)
Jennifer GentzlerDec 11, 2025Valley School has been an absolutely exceptional daycare and preschool for our family. Both of my children have attended, and I couldn’t be happier with the care, support, and education they’ve received. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly invested in the well-being and growth of every child who walks through their doors. My kids have thrived at Valley School—socially, emotionally, and academically. The teachers create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. They communicate consistently, sharing updates and little moments from the day that mean so much to a parent. The classrooms are clean, organized, and full of creative activities that keep the children engaged and happy. Most importantly, Valley School has given us complete peace of mind. It’s rare to find a place where you trust that your children are genuinely cared for and encouraged to be their best selves. We are incredibly grateful for everything Valley School has done for our family and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a loving, high-quality daycare and preschool.

Questions parents ask about The Valley School
Is The Valley School a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. The Valley School holds Maryland licence 1746221226757x474257479480158400, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Frederick County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to January 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about The Valley School's standing?
- Maryland records The Valley School's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is The Valley School licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 28 school-age places for The Valley School. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does The Valley School operate all year?
- Maryland records The Valley School as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for The Valley School?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Valley School's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
