It's been such a privilege for us to watch our daughter grow so much at the Tree of Life. Transitions can be tough, but Ms. Sophia and Ms. Leslie have made us feel at ease. They’re creative, patient, and truly take the time to understand each child. Even when offering correction, they do it with such love and care. We’re incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment they’ve created. BRZ
Rachel BonaparteMay 6, 2026Tree of Life Early Learning Center has been amazing for our 10-month-old. The teachers are so patient, gentle, and genuinely caring — you can really see how much they love working with little ones. Every day our baby comes home happy, well cared for, and learning something new. The environment is clean, safe, and full of warmth, which gave me peace of mind from day one. We truly appreciate the communication, the fun sensory activities, and how intentional they are about early development, even at such a young age. It’s comforting knowing our baby is surrounded by people who nurture and encourage growth. We’re grateful to have found such a wonderful place and highly recommend Tree of Life Early Learning Center to any family looking for a loving and supportive start for their child.
Justin SkinnerDec 28, 2025Tree of Life Early Learning Center has been an incredible blessing for our family. Both our son and daughter attended from infancy through pre-kindergarten, and we could not be more grateful for the exceptional care, personal attention, and genuine love they received every single day. The directors consistently provided outstanding communication and support, which gave my wife and me complete peace of mind throughout the years. The curriculum at Tree of Life is truly impressive. We watched both our children grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and the staff made learning fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Although the school is faith-based, families of any or no religion will appreciate the wonderful values, kindness, and character-building lessons woven into each day. Safety is clearly a top priority at Tree of Life. Their secure pick-up and drop-off procedures and strict security protocols always reassured us that our children were well protected. We also loved the school’s advanced technology features, which allowed us to receive real-time updates, pictures, and videos of our kids throughout the day, as well as direct communication with teachers for announcements or questions. The daily health checks, nutritious snacks, and balanced meals were another huge plus for our family. Every teacher we encountered was certified, well-trained, and—most importantly—caring, patient, and attentive. It is clear that the staff truly loves what they do. We feel incredibly blessed to have been part of the Tree of Life community and to have built such meaningful relationships with the directors and teachers. Now that both of our children have transitioned to public school, we already find ourselves missing everyone there. We wholeheartedly recommend Tree of Life Early Learning Center to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and academically strong daycare in the Fulton, Laurel, Columbia, and surrounding areas. They exceeded all of our expectations, and we are forever grateful for the foundation they helped build for our children.
Garrett BrownNov 17, 2025Tree Of Life is the best thing that happened to our family. The bond that my daughter built with each, and every person in that building was amazing and really made both me and her father feel grateful that we found them. The tears that I cried, knowing that my daughter’s time here was coming to an end due to her starting kindergarten are more than I care to admit. Every child deserves to be taken care of and loved on the way the staff do at Tree Of Life. I will always be a huge supporter, here for what ever they need and here to advocate for them at every turn. Thank you for the love that you gave my family for the past 3 year!
Katherine BanksSep 18, 2025Good day great people! I wanted to take a moment to especially thank Ms. Ashley Harris, Assistant Director for all her tips, support, and guidance she has shown to my daughter and I. From the very first day we met, during our parent meet and greet before my little started at TOL in April this year, Ms. Ashley has been nothing short of professional and a wealth of knowledge and always responsive and knowledgeable. She is certainly an asset to the TOL team and her expertise and professionalism should be commended. Please take a moment to recognize all that she does and to extend our warm gratitude to not only Ms. Ashely but also to Ms. Gabby, Abby, Sophia, Leslie, Shakena, Faith, Ashelee the teacher, Fannice, as well as Elise. They are an extremely great and dynamic team that takes great care of the children and Tree of Life. I am grateful and appreciative for the entire team that makes the center run so well. This is surely and all a direct reflection of great leadership by the director Ms. Gabby Douglas. Kudos to you and your team! Your care and commitment to quality education and safe child care service shines through in all your staff and the TLC they demonstrate and provide to our children. Many thanks to each of you. Please forgive me if I left off any important administrative staff names and please feel free to share and cascade to any missed. My apologies. I know it takes a village. With gratitude and appreciation 🌟
Zae LlisheaSep 18, 2025Our son started just before age 2, and the impact has been profound. From the very beginning, we felt confident in the school’s structure, warmth, and intentional care. The environment is nurturing yet well-organized. They served healthy meals (which shaped his food preferences), and emphasized manners and social-emotional development. The teachers truly care. The preschool partnered with us through challenges offering thoughtful support and consistent communication. That level of collaboration made all the difference. They also celebrated his progress. He’s now thriving in kindergarten. We’re so grateful we chose Tree of Life Early Learning Center. It’s more than a preschool, it’s a community that invests in each child’s growth, joy, and future.

Questions parents ask about Tree of Life Early Learning Center
Is Tree of Life Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Tree of Life Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746216910886x306038923719203400, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Howard County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to July 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Tree of Life Early Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records Tree of Life Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Tree of Life Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 9 infant places for Tree of Life Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Tree of Life Early Learning Center operate all year?
- Maryland records Tree of Life Early Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Tree of Life Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Tree of Life Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
