My Granddaughter absolutely loves her school experience at Two Swans Early Learning Center. At age 5 she know all of her letters, numbers, Days of the week/months sign language plus she can spell and write her first last name plus more. Thank you for the ultimate early childhood learning experience 🙌🥰
RochelleMay 24, 2023I am very disappointed in the behavior and dynamic of this daycare. I have been keeping this as I don't like to add bad reviews on peoples page, and I decided not to place my boys in this facility anyways. Looking at the reviews coming across of abuse, is not news to my ears. Two years ago I came to visit and she was not prepared to say the least. The place smelled horrible, kids were crying, and it was traumatic thinking about leaving my children here for the first time. I decided to turn down my new position so that I could stay safely home with my children. Now reading these reviews, I wish I would have mentioned something sooner as maybe this could have been prevented. I wish those parents the best.
RoxanneOct 6, 2021They Hit your children here and threaten them, as well. My child would say she was scared every time I dropped her off. I took her out real fast. The teachers dont last either. and most of them are parents that children go there. They dont even have patient and is just there to keep an eye on there children, while miss treating everyone else. Drive right past this place. My baby would even come home dirty and all. shoes on the wrong foot. just looking a mess. The owner is not there during the day and she smile and laugh with all parents for cover up. she is nice but they are miss treating them kids behind doors. They are running this place to the ground.
Jameka WilliamsOct 5, 2021If you love your child please choose another daycare! My child was only enrolled at this daycare for 1 month and I’ve witnessed bruises, and unusual behavior coming from him! My 3 year old has been having nightmares since I’ve unenrolled him!! When I ask the director ms.Davis what was going on with my baby where are the bruises coming from and why was his hair being taking out she responded with “I don’t know maybe he did it or a child” .. Unacceptable !! Even his teacher ms.hall couldn’t answer any questions! His last day being there I picked my son up with his hair halfway taken out and was given his sheets balled up with dirt from outside inside of it ! I asked the director about it and was told the kids don’t take their shoes off while napping ... yeah that’s still NOT OKAY and not a good enough excuse! Not to mention my 3 year said “I don’t like school I don’t like teacher” and when I ask why he would say “teacher touch my hair or teacher hit me”!!!!... I’ve also spoke with the director about viewing video Footage of my child while in school and was told that she might’ve deleted and once she finds it or gets access to it she’ll reach out to me 2 weeks later still nothing and it seem like my phone number is BLOCKED when I call from my number it goes to voicemail but I called from another phone and was able to speak with someone!
Nzuri BrownOct 4, 2021I enrolled my daughter at this center at the recommendation of a close friend that had his kids here before, and I have not regretted it! My daughter is 7 1/2 months and she’s already acclimated to being there after 2 weeks. She gets tummy time everyday, there are 2 other children in the infant room (they’re the only 3 and they have one teacher so I know she gets the time and attention she needs) so she gets plenty of interaction with children her age. Her teacher is such a sweetheart and you can feel the love she has for all the kids, she gives me updates everyday when I pick her up about what they did as a group and how she’s doing as an individual. When the weather is nice, they take all the children outside to play (there’s a play area and swing set in the back) which I love because they aren’t just stuck indoors all day like some other places do. Not to mention it’s very affordable. Ms Hope and her staff are excellent at what they do and I would recommend this center to anyone that asks
DeJon DavisMar 19, 20195 STARS My children have been attending Swann Road Early Learning Center since they were pre-schoolers until now ages 10 and 6. I can honestly say I do not worry about the care of my children when they are there. The center is an extension of what we teach at home to excel academically, be leaders of their community, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. The entire staff from the Director to care workers are happy to be there, approachable, and eager to fill in the gap as needed to help with homework, stem activities, birthday parties, Swann Road Graduation Celebrations, End of School year parties and etc. One last thing, each year we have always enrolled our kids into the Summer Programs because they are organized, fun, and engaging for the kids. Not only do they go to water parks, and playgrounds, but they go to places like the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian museums, bowling, skating, and etc. Swan Road is truly a great place...go check it out !!!

Questions parents ask about Two Swanns Early Learning Center
Is Two Swanns Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Two Swanns Early Learning Center holds Maryland licence 1746210852059x529731202274863500, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to May 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Two Swanns Early Learning Center's standing?
- Maryland records Two Swanns Early Learning Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Two Swanns Early Learning Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 3 infant places and 8 school-age places for Two Swanns Early Learning Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Two Swanns Early Learning Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Two Swanns Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
