  • I have attended a few events here; mostly tied to CUUPS programs. I've loved every visit to this chapel Such a great location and beautiful place. There is a sense of peace every time I visit.

  • Only love lives here. The church truly embodies what all religions should be about. Love, care and helping the needy.

  • I've always enjoyed visiting here, the people are welcoming, the messages/sermons are interesting and can be applied to our everyday lives. Their events are extra special and a really nice experience to enjoy. I feel welcomed here even though I'm a traditional Bible believing Christian. They welcome all faiths including Christianity, as I've attended a small Christian group that meets here also. Honestly, this group of people do "church" right the way all should be! It's been a pleasure to have made their acquaintance a decade ago!

  • I've visited a few times for Pagan ceremonies and once for a Sunday service witn my husband who is Buddhist. I'm agnostic with Pagan leanings and was excited to find a place where the wisdom and philosophies of all faiths would be embraced as well as a progressive political stance. BUT each time I went, I sort felt like I was crashing a party I wasn't invited to. No one really talked to us or made us feel welcome at the Sunday and a few of the people at the ceremonies were actually rude. I smiled at a couple of girls who rolled their eyes and said loudly they "couldn't stand people that were all sunshine and flowers." It felt cliquey and a bit judgemental--a lot like the protestant church I grew up in. I see a lot of others have had good experiences, so I might be willing to give ot another try.

  • What a wonderful community! Excellent location, beautiful grounds. Love the Frederick Pagan Pride event held annually. Awesome people, open and accepting spiritual community

  • Mixed feelings about my experience at the Frederick UU Church: The congregation seemed good-humoured and respectful, the music was nice, and the liturgist used simple, secular language that was easy to understand. HOWEVER, I have seen thousands of sermons over my years of attending various religious ceremonies, and I HAD NEVER HEARD SUCH A HATEFUL, PRIDEFUL, AND IGNORANT SERMON as the one given at UUCF. What suprised me more than the speaker's lack of self-awareness was the standing ovation given afterwards. Although I appreciate the generally welcoming atmosphere, I would not recommend this church to anyone who values and celebrates love, understanding, and compassion.

What does Maryland record about Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick's standing?

Maryland records Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.

Does Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick operate all year?

Maryland records Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick as a "School Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
