Thank you to all of the amazing staff members, especially to Ms. Raven McClorin. Our child comes home and tell us stories about how fun it is to be in your classroom. Teachers require so much positive qualities like care, compassion, patience and commitment. You have all of these qualities in abundance. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
meron aregaiDec 5, 2025Our daughter is advancing rapidly under the amazing care and loving teachings of Ms. Raven in Pre-K. Excited to see how she develops over the coming year.
Jake PierceDec 4, 2025Waterbabies has been amazing in the care and development of our daughter. With her current teacher Ms. Portia and Ms. Jenice, she has flourished with communication and motor skills. Communication and cooperation is never a problem with the team at the center. The activities, meals, and overall attitude of the center is something our family truly treasures.
Shabaana Ali-PuskarNov 26, 2025We moved our son to Water Babies right before he turned two, and we’ve been incredibly happy with our experience. He comes home most days with the cutest arts and crafts projects and can’t stop talking about his friends. One of his favorite parts of the morning is spending quiet time with Ms. Maria while she gets breakfast delivered to the classrooms. Even though she’s no longer his primary teacher, Ms. Michelle still greets him every morning with open arms, which makes drop-off comforting. And Ms. Madison and Ms. Kiana do a wonderful job keeping him and all the children engaged with active play, creative projects and reading. We’ve felt so welcomed and supported at Water Babies, and we’re grateful for the amazing teachers who make it such a warm, joyful place for our son.
Jessica CunningNov 21, 2025We have been at water babies now for 8 months and we love it there. Specially because of how we can see that they love our child and how happy he is to go. No place will ever be picture perfect and in this case in my opinion it’s always going to be about how your child is cared for when you aren’t there. I want to specifically recognize Ms. Maria and Ms. Michelle who have helped me greatly especially with the transition personally into putting my child in daycare just by the ways I’ve seen them interact with my baby. He loves them and I love the way I’ve seen them love him. They have been here at water babies from the beginning of our journey. From what I have notices all the staff members are great and welcoming as well! I believe in this place for childcare !
Reneesia BoydNov 21, 2025The staff at water Babies are amazing. They have been working so well with my granddaughter. Kiana, Madison and Michelle have taught her so many things such as colors and numbers. Maria has been teaching her Spanish from which she can sing the songs on her own. She loves it here.

Questions parents ask about Water Babies Child Development Center
Is Water Babies Child Development Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Water Babies Child Development Center holds Maryland licence 1746225868661x406843556677302340, listed as "CLOSED" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Prince George's County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to February 29, 2028. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Water Babies Child Development Center's standing?
- Maryland records Water Babies Child Development Center's status as "Voluntary Closure". That indicates the programme is not currently operating under this licence. The record may lag a reopening, so confirm directly with the provider or the Office of Child Care rather than treating this page as current.
How many children is Water Babies Child Development Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 20 school-age places for Water Babies Child Development Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Water Babies Child Development Center operate all year?
- Maryland records Water Babies Child Development Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Water Babies Child Development Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Water Babies Child Development Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
