Lauren BrunstJun 23, 2026What I love most about Weems Creek is the genuine care and attention every child receives from the incredible staff. From day one, my children felt completely at home, and as a parent, that level of trust and comfort makes all the difference. We've had three children attend Weems Creek, and each of them grew tremendously — both academically and socially. My youngest entered the 2s program very shy and reserved, and by the time he graduated from Pre-K, he had become a confident leader who was more than ready for kindergarten. My older two sons also thrived, each developing in their own unique ways thanks to the nurturing environment and dedicated teachers. I would wholeheartedly recommend Weems Creek to any family looking for a preschool where their child will be loved, encouraged, challenged, and fully prepared for elementary school. It truly is a special place.

Jennifer CohenJun 3, 2026We love Weems Creek Nursery School. There is not enough good I can say about it. Both my son and daughter did the 3's and PreK programs. They are now rising K and 1st graders. They both grew socially, learned how to follow instructions, and I'm amazed at the education they brought home with them every day. Our kids learned to love learning, which is so important. They will take that throughout their lives, and the building blocks started here. The teachers and staff are so special. They make this place magic. From Miss Deb's boo boo fairy glitter, to the warm welcomes from Miss Mary, to the beautiful photos Miss Lee takes, the staff is focused on making this school run to its fullest potential. The day-in-day-out love the teachers provide to our kids, and the time they take to make them feel seen, safe and heard is unmatched.

At the end of our time, the kids share their creations with each other. I asked if anyone wanted to say something they liked about each child's fairy house — every hand went up, even the youngest. They sparkled as they spoke to each other. They were each so confident in how to share specific compliments. I could see Droplets and Weems in each of them: curiosity, kindness, and the courage to share. Thank you for having a vision of what kids can be and creating a space for it to grow. tiffany bullockMay 27, 2026It’s no secret that Weems is the premier preschool in the area. It’s been around for decades. We are so thankful to be a part of the loving Weems community! This is a nursery school that aims to develop children into happy, empathetic, caring, individuals. I love that there is less focus on academics, and more focus on developing social skills and physical development through play. Weems has a saying about something along the lines of “how preschool was meant to be.” This literally sums up our experience at Weems. Even throughout the pandemic, we have been amazed at the sense of home and community that the school has created. This school maintains high levels of parental communication and engagement. As a military family that has moved all throughout the country, I can honestly say Weems is truly a gem of a nursery school! Without a doubt the absolute gold standard in the Annapolis area.
