Wonderful. There is nowhere else we would entrust our child’s care. The community is warm, thoughtful, and enriching. Every educator and administrator knew our son’s name in the first week. The teachers responded to our every neurotic message with longer, reassuring ones. In an age of private equity childcare, this local school stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Alexandra RukhadzeJun 20, 2026We have two boys, ages 2 and 4, whom we have raised bilingually, and we thought we were doing a pretty good job until we sent them to Whole Kids Academy! Every single day they come home with new Spanish vocabulary and expressions. It is remarkable how much they are learning on a regular basis. Not only is the Spanish instruction amazing, but our boys are genuinely excited to go to school every day and see their teachers. One of the things that stood out to us most was seeing them greet their teachers with hugs in the morning and leave with hugs at the end of the day. It is clear that the teachers truly care for and love the children. As parents, our children are our most valuable treasures, and Whole Kids Academy has cared for them as if they were their own. We are incredibly grateful for the warmth, education, and support WKA provides our family.
Agustin Umanzor Jr.May 21, 2026THE BEST childcare experience we've had with our son so far. If you're mil, this place now participates in CCAoA and it is 100% worth the paperwork struggle. Super professional staff, loving childcare professionals, we did not imagine we'd have such a great experience here. Our son has grown a ton socially and emotionally in our year here, and he's learned so much academically and practically. Their curriculum is awesome and he's learned way more than I would have had the time or energy to teach him after work. I cannot express how much we love this place, HIGHLY RECOMMEND, 10/10!!
Sabrina TorresApr 27, 2026Our non-Spanish speaking son started with WKA this year, after being at an in-home daycare for 4 years. We have been BLOWN AWAY by the kind, caring, empathetic approach that WKA brings to childcare. They are truly some of the warmest people you will ever meet. My son loves his teachers and friends, and we love how affordable the care is - and the hours of care that they provide. We were anxious about the transition to a Spanish immersion program, but he's been picking it up incredibly quickly, and the teachers and administrators (and even fellow students!) make sure that he always understands what is happening. All the above, coupled with the extensive amount of outdoor time they have each day (including on-site Soccer Shots!) - helps us know that our son is exactly where he needs to be. I genuinely cannot say enough positive things about WKA - it truly feels like we've found not only a school, but a community where our family can thrive.
Kat JordanOct 30, 2025We love WKA. Our son has been attending since he was 8 months old. It is a safe and enriching experience. As another reviewer stated, they have SO many activities for the kids inside and outside. Our son is loved by all the teachers he interacts with and he is happy to go to school. It is a great fit for our family as we have the same cultural and parenting values. We are so happy to have found WKA.
Yoliara RamosAug 11, 2025Our 2 young kids attend Whole Kids Academy, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of care that they're both receiving. The teachers are unparalleled in their dedication and commitment to providing the best education (of course while making it fun) in a safe and loving environment. The WKA staff is also very attentive to parent concerns and questions. Neither my husband nor I are fluent Spanish speakers, and even at the end of a long day, the teachers go out of their way to detail how our kids' days were in English. Lastly, the families that we've met through WKA have become some of our closest friends, and it's clear that WKA prioritizes curating a cohesive community both inside and outside of the classroom. We feel most fortunate to be part of the amazing WKA community, and we're happy that our kids will attend WKA for years to come. If you're looking for trustworthy, dependable, top-notch, and loving childcare, stop your search -- WKA is the answer!

Questions parents ask about Whole Kids Academy
Is Whole Kids Academy a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Whole Kids Academy holds Maryland licence 1746218004509x340061198709672900, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to November 30, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
How many children is Whole Kids Academy licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 12 infant places and 30 school-age places for Whole Kids Academy. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for Whole Kids Academy?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Whole Kids Academy's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
