Wonders is truly the best! As a working mom, I felt confident knowing my son was in a supportive environment where he could thrive. The administration team, teachers, and overall system are all excellent. During my son’s time there, he had the same homeroom teachers throughout the academic year, which provided consistency and stability. I did not have high expectations for the curriculum at first as they are babies, but it turned out to be excellent and offered detailed feedback on my child’s development. Moreover, Wonders felt like a true community where families could connect and feel supported. Our family had some of our most meaningful moments during my son’s toddler years thanks to Wonders. We are sad to leave as we are moving to a different state, but I wanted to leave this review for other moms who are looking for a reliable childcare community.
Angie YJ HongMar 19, 2026Wonders is truly the best. The teachers and other professional staff have become like family over the almost three years that my daughter has been going here. My daughter started attending when she was 4 months old, and from day one, Wonders has provided exceptional care. The teachers are all so kind and passionate about their work. I really appreciate that they are able to not only be responsible and professional -- teaching the children boundaries and keeping them safe -- while also showering them with warmth. It says something about the organization and the Wonders community that they recently celebrated the 40 year anniversary of one caregiver, and have other teachers that have been there for 10 or 15 plus years. It is the kind of place where kids are excited to go in every morning, parents feel comfortable leaving their kids, and teachers genuinely enjoy their work and want to stay. Wonders is NAEYC accredited, which is the top-of-the-line for childcare. They also provide healthy lunch (with a vegetarian option!) and two snacks a day. I would (and do) recommend Wonders to everyone. It is worth holding out on the waitlist for spot!
Jennifer GordonApr 27, 2024Wonders is an absolutely wonderful early childhood learning center. They helped our kids learn and grow in ways we didn't think were possible, and we are forever grateful for the experience!
Christine MenendezSep 20, 2021We are so grateful for the care our child (now in preK at Wonders) has received at Wonders since 1 year of age. From the start, his professional, caring teachers learned about our child and family, and have always helped our child to adapt and develop in his learning environment. We feel confident that our child is safe and have been pleased with the COVID precautions. We are always informed about what our child is learning in school and see the progress he’s making on a day-to-day basis. The school retains teachers by paying at the top of the market, which is invaluable, and we think that this is the most valuable aspect of the care provided. We feel so grateful to have found a second home at Wonders and know that it is absolutely top notch.
Sarah SchafferSep 20, 2021My child attended daycare at Edgemoor for several years and we had a great experience. His teachers were very caring and he learned a lot while there.

Questions parents ask about Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor
Is Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor holds Maryland licence 1746223146664x635765270556265500, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to May 31, 2027. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor's standing?
- Maryland records Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 24 infant places for Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor operate all year?
- Maryland records Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Wonders Early Learning at Edgemoor's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
