Both of my kids have attended Wonders and it has been a truly magical place for them to grow up. We love all of their teachers - they’re experienced, engaged and loving, and most have been with Wonders for several years. The directors and staff are deeply knowledgeable and get to know all of the students and families on a personal level. Some things that set Wonders apart from other places we looked are that kids stay in the same class all year long, with the same teachers and classmates, which has really really helped my kids’ growth and confidence and allowed them to develop close relationships. Wonders also provides lunch and snacks, which makes life easier. Lastly, having the playground right outside the center makes it easy to build relationships with other families and creates a closeknit community.
Farrell RoddDec 6, 2023Wonders has been an excellent intro into school for our 3 year old. The teachers are fantastic and the programming is well thought out. Highly recommend to any family.
Michelle StephensonFeb 7, 2022This center was recommended by neighbors and teachers as I was searching for a pre-K option for my child. Glad we made the switch and everyone at the center has been great.
Nayoung LouieSep 20, 2021Loving teachers and staffs. Outdoor space is limited.

Questions parents ask about Wonders Early Learning at Leland
Is Wonders Early Learning at Leland a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. Wonders Early Learning at Leland holds Maryland licence 1746220561105x411099592730498100, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Montgomery County. The licence is recorded as Continuing - Full, running to September 30, 2026. Confirm current standing with the Office of Child Care before enrolling.
What does Maryland record about Wonders Early Learning at Leland's standing?
- Maryland records Wonders Early Learning at Leland's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is Wonders Early Learning at Leland licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 3 infant places for Wonders Early Learning at Leland. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does Wonders Early Learning at Leland operate all year?
- Maryland records Wonders Early Learning at Leland as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.
Does this page show inspection results for Wonders Early Learning at Leland?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Wonders Early Learning at Leland's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
