Maryland publishes an infant band and a school-age band and no others, so these are not a total capacity and say nothing about toddler or preschool places.

This place is horrible. The teachers are rude and make kids cry. The school itself is ugly and uncomfortable. The weekly fee is $300 for just one kid, and the internet is terrible. The staff is untrained and doesn’t seem to care about their students. One time, they took all our devices and searched them. They make you stay quiet all the time, so talking is rare. They always take you to the same places, and it gets boring after about three weeks. The girls get it much better than the boys. The charging ports don’t work well, and if one person does something wrong, everyone takes the blame. I wish I could give it 0 stars.
Gamer_BossJul 30, 2025World Champion Martial Arts Center has had an incredibly positive impact on our daughters. Master Lee and Ms. Sonia provide students an understanding of the art of Taekwondo and an appreciation for discipline, respect and hard work. The skills they've learned at World Champion Martial Arts Center has directly translated to their performance at home and school. We highly recommend World Champion Martial Arts Center. We Love Master Lee!!!
Michael DavisAug 20, 2024My son has been enrolled in the summer and day camp program at World Champion Martial Arts the last two summers and last school year; he absolutely loves it - in fact he enjoyed it so much he asked to do less of other camps and more of this one. He enjoys the field trips four days a week as well as the activity on location including tae kwon do class twice during the week. Master Lee and Sonia and their staff genuinely care about the well being of the children, and work diligently to promote kindness, confidence and respect. In addition the camp has a convenient location and is reasonably priced.
Emma GregoryAug 17, 2024My daughter started with World Champion Martial Arts in the "little champions" class last summer and continuing through her kindergarten year; I started shortly after because it seemed like a fun workout. Now that we've been going here for about a year, I can say without reservations that I would put this school at the top of my recommendations for learning a martial art, but also for before/after school programs and summer camps. Master Lee and his wife, Ms. Sonia, put their all into running their school, and take a lot of care not just in teaching their students, but in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the kids who take part in their youth programs. If you're looking for a hobby or fun way to stay fit--either for yourself or the little ones in your life!--look no further.
Gabrielle GalvezJun 22, 2024My son has been with WCMA for three years. Master Lee, Sonia and family are like family to us. I love the program. They have taught my son to be confident, disciplined and respectful. He has gained friendships and a second family. I am so glad that my son is apart of this program.
Tamika HoustonJun 24, 2022This studio offers a great aftercare program. It is a perfect blend of disciple and fun, and just the kind of structured activity our kindergartner needed to deal with the stress of these past years. The program offers comprehensive support for working parents that we were always able to count on. We love Master Lee!

Questions parents ask about World Champion Martial Arts Center
Is World Champion Martial Arts Center a licensed child care provider in Maryland?
- Yes. World Champion Martial Arts Center holds Maryland licence 1746218620966x641427197254694800, listed as "CONTINUING - FULL" by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education in Howard County. What does Maryland record about World Champion Martial Arts Center's standing?
- Maryland records World Champion Martial Arts Center's status as "In Good Standing". That is a single status field in a snapshot, not a compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. Maryland publishes inspection findings separately at checkccmd.org and they are not included here.
How many children is World Champion Martial Arts Center licensed for?
- Maryland's record lists 60 school-age places for World Champion Martial Arts Center. Those are the only two age bands this dataset publishes, so they are not a total capacity and do not describe toddler or preschool places. Ask the provider for its full licensed capacity.
Does this page show inspection results for World Champion Martial Arts Center?
- No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects World Champion Martial Arts Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
