Great daycare, organized, polite, and they have goats and chickens! Morgan in the toddler room is awesome with the children
Christina RicciMar 10, 2026Our daughter started at Moose Alley when she was just 4 months old and she has truly blossomed under their care. From the start I felt like she wasn’t just being looked after but that she was learning, exploring, and experiencing new things every day. They celebrated every milestone with us and seemed just as excited as we were to see her grow. Now that she’s 2, it amazes me what she comes home knowing. She’s proud to show off her colors, shapes, and letters, and it’s clear that she’s having fun while learning. The teachers know her so well and they make every day engaging. She’s building friendships, learning how to play with others, and discovering the magic in the outdoors and in play. I also love that they’ve recently added meals. It’s been wonderful to see her try new, nutritious foods and enjoy things she might not have been exposed to at home. Every afternoon when I pick her up she’s smiling and excited to share something new she did that day. Communication has been excellent too. The app they use for photos and updates makes me feel connected even when I’m at work, and I always know what’s going on. For us, Moose Alley has been such a positive place and I’m so glad we found them. It’s well worth the cost to know she’s safe, happy, and thriving every day.
Colleen ChassieSep 29, 2025So I’m not sure where to begin in the year I have seen this daycare in operation! I met someone whose children had up until very recently been attending. First experience I ever had was I had to go pick up her up and keep her home from the daycare for a runny nose. It’s not so much the idea of having to pick up a sick kid but the negative way she responded to all of it was very disheartening. Demanding a ten minute window to pick up a child is almost impossible and impractical to any working family’s. Not to mention on Friday's you must pick up children by 4pm which for anyone where both parents work is also pretty unreasonable! Also if you are late you are assessed a ten dollar per minute late pick up charge which she will always remind you about. The owner truly doesn’t care about the kids and each one is a number and a dollar sign to her! The two teachers she employs are good but the kids all fear the owner and I have first hand experiences watching kids not my own mention that the owner was coming and stop playing and joking around and look generally concerned when they were doing nothing wrong. It’s run like a military setup and not nurturing or caring environment. Aside from that the price she is charging for the service you are getting is outrageous. So for two kids it was 175 each was her price before she decided that she would charge an extra 35 dollar Per kid “activity fee” which was randomly added on a month ago with no warnings. Yes I know daycares need to make money and I understand sometimes rates change due to circumstances however this was Sprung on all families without any notice! I can stress enough the only thing the owner cares about is money and I truly believe that from everything I have ever seen from her. They do not provided and food or drink at the daycare except maybe a special occasion cake or donuts but you are responsible for packing all for your kids including sending in water bottles for them. And if you are fortunate enough to not have to use state subsidy to help pay for daycare cost then consider yourself lucky because dealing with her around subsidy is the most awful experience. She will shame you and threaten to stop taking it. Other notable events worth mentioning were the kids stayed home for covid and we had made sure that she was aware and we were told not to worry that the spots were safe. Once school rolled around again we were told the spots were gone for the children and we had to contact the state which was illegal since she was claiming them as students and most likrly still receiving state subsidy money. And for the final straw that really broke the camels back for us was that she demanded full payment since the return of school and we have been paying the non subsidy amount until she gets her money from the state which is also illegal. We had payed faithfully every Friday and have record to prove it and now that the state has back payed her everything she refused to return any amount back to us and would make up random charges that she has absolutely no paperwork to back up and refused to even sit down and explain how our figures were not correct. We have every check stub and bank statement to show every payment made to the daycare but somehow when we decide to move the kids to a new daycare after all of this has gone down we now owe almost exact amount of what we believed we were owed back and that is also according to the state as well! And for the record I know our kids were not the best students ever and I know dealing with the state for a provider can be stressful but the lack of tact and professionalism from this owner was appalling And we cant wait to start a new chapter with our kids in a loving and caring environment. This is just my experience from what we as a family have been thru and may not be the same as others. And one other thing this is only the second review I have ever left on anything aside from one horrible Chinese food restaurant ten years ago. Good luck in any daycare search and thanks for reading !
