I enjoy going here because it's not a really large place. Just got all brand new equipment too.
David VioletteJun 22, 2026The firing of Mikayla is devastating, she has built the OTO YMCA Cheer program into what it is today. Without her, it will suffer and so will the children who participate. There is sure to be a mass exodus now. As a community member and grandmother of children, that not only attend the Y but also participate in the cheer program, I'm puzzled by the decision making in the last few years of upper management at the OTO YMCA. Disappointing at the least.

Michelle AveryMar 15, 2026The Old Town-Orono YMCA is the best! We joined about a year ago to be able to get indoor exercise, especially during the winter months. We have enjoyed the pickleball immensely. Have also enjoyed the walking track and the a few of the exercise programs (chair yoga and pilates). The staff is so friendly and helpful. It has turned out to not only be a good place for exercise; but the social aspect has been an added benefit! Thank you for all you do. This is a well-run organization and facility!!!
